Amazing how many media ‘experts’ were talking up a Richmond renaissance in the preseason. Even after we belted them in a practice game, you had Whately carding on about it being like racehorse training and that Richmond were holding back and letting their stable mate show their hand. Complete nonsense

I haven't watched 360 since all that rubbish Whately and Robbo were foaming on about and that Dusty might be back to his best. It really sounded like they were paid to say it.

If Witts plays they win that game.

Locomotive Delicious kicks straight they win that game…

I see Luke Jackson had a good game last week in the the most 'off broadway' of games you could possibly get (GC Suns at Norwood during business hours)

Let's see how the contested marking beast goes tonight on the biggest stage of all - Friday night footy!

A loss to the Dogs tonight would be perfect.

With games coming against Brisbane (gabba), Hawks, Swans (SCG), Geelong and then us they could potentially be 3-8 after 11 rounds and season over.

Love this death ride.

It's time for the Western Bulldogs to rocket back up the free-kick ladder. May the umpires miss every one of Libba's throws!

C'mon doggies!

Not sure what GC saw in Mac Andrew to draft him so high.

I wonder if we would have taken him if he got through to our first pick.

Instead of JVR? Or different draft?

I think in any draft 'Gonzo'...I must admit to not seeing much of him at all but he looks highly speculative.

GC have that many picks I guess they can afford that risk but...I don't know.

I think we would have taken him, and developed him a hell of a lot better than GC ever will.

He would have spent 2 years at Casey, and learning from Gawn and he would end up a good player.

GC is the wrong place for him

We apparently have his brother in our Academy squad.

Expecting a new rule that bans any brother of a player who was in MFC Academy and is playing at another club, from going to the MFC.

Sounds legit.

No doubt that GC is absolutely the worst place for him to develop. I've got no idea how good he's going to be or if he can play but he's got some good tools and raw material to work with. Would have loved him as a Casey project.

He looked good though. Easily his best game for them.

How sustainable is it for them to rely on Jackson kicking from 50?

I'm hoping the Dockers are like Musk's rocket ... suffer a Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly.

I feel quite dirty having to barrack for the Bulldogs though...

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
