If Carlton wins, that'll be 4 finalists on finals grounds (albeit we won't be playing a final at the Gabba).

I seem to recall Geelong having a vey soft run into finals a few years ago (may have been the prelude to the pre finals bye) and being crushed by pressure when they were challenged by decent teams.

We will certainly be match hardened.

Much improved field kicking. We took a lot more on tonight. Kicks over players heads running toward goal worked beautifully a few times. Put us in better scoring positions throughout the night.

My first trip to the Gabba and the boys made it a good one. Watching Lions fans leaving at half time was something I did not expect at the start of the night.
