CHANGES: Rd 22 vs Carlton

Melksham and Hunt were very disappointing tonight. We desperately need a 2nd tall forward otherwise we cannot win the flag.

Edited by Jibroni

Out- Jackson, ANB, Hibberd

In- JVR, Chandler, who knows…

OUT: Sparrow, ANB, Hunt/Hibberd (flip a coin)
IN: Harmes, JVR, Bowey

Hibberd and ANB both should be put in a hole to never be seen again. Bring in Bedford and Harmes

Rubbish post

I dream a dream of not having a long distance runner as a half forward flanker

ANB & Hibberd

How would you rate their games tonight ?

Bowey and Harmes in

anb to solitary for a week deary me

i mean you could add inJVR v blues for experience because we cannot win from here

Out: Melksham, Hunt

In: JVR, Harmes

Picket looked hampered by the knee with strapping. Rest him if needed. Chin can have a run if this is the case.

ABN

He has all the attributes of a Cattle dog.

ANB gets 90% of his touches with immediate pressure incoming. He chooses to take the tackle and create a stoppage. I assume this is what the coaches drill into them, because he does it everytime and is always picked

Unchanged.

It's the Goodwin way.

In: Harmes

Out: Hunt

In Harmes or JVR

Out Melksham

We kick straight and win, don’t throw out all the toys yet.

Tackling in forward half needs to be more consistent week to week.

Honestly, without emotion.. who cares.. we look a straight sets final side.

Genuinely still confused what Sparrow's role this year. Plays the bit role I'm guessing? For a midfielder, he barely has influence at all in games.

9 disposals tonight for 0 tackles.

Spot on. He was TERRIBLE.  Fumbled. Missed tackles. Handballs to no one. Terrible.

I've really got no idea who to bring in but surely the coaches need to look at the forwards. It is not working. In the past I blamed the entries but we had plenty of good forward entries only for the forwards to go missing and hang out the back. Think we may have a few front runners here who are not as tough as they think.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
