Wouldn’t shock me, given your penchant for criticising the coach that only last year ended a 57 year premiership drought - and the Norm Smith curse. Edited July 21, 2022 by binman 7 1 Quote

DubDee 26,711 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 If that doesn’t make Tommo look for another club nothing will. Played very well last week. There are just better players 3 Quote
HarpenDee 249 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Agreed. Only injury forced changes to the side despite being a lowly 2nd on the ladder. Goodwin out. 1 Quote

Nascent 9,345 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Good ins but still think we need another tall. 5 Quote
Deeoldfart 8,205 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Fairly predictable team I guess, but Tommo is very unlucky imo. Maybe he will be medi-sub, or possibly replace Rick Lever, if he fails a late test before the game. 6 1 Quote
Smokey 4,394 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Not sure why people have an issue with Tommo out. He played very well last week but Petty is an upgrade no matter what way you look at it. 10 Quote

Melksham couple of great tackles and involved a couple of goals. Offers more than Bedford has the last few weeks. Petty is a better player than thommo it's pretty straight forward 5 Quote
mo64 5,911 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 I actually think we're a better chance to beat the Dogs at Marvel than at the G. Smaller ground makes it easier to apply forward pressure. If it was at the G and we didn't include another tall forward, I'd back the Dogs. Melksham to tag Bailey Dale. 2 Quote
WERRIDEE 5,641 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 The ins that I thought. Still think Tommo will be sub and Bedford will play a half for Casey and then be used as emergency. Time for Jacko to step up at CHF You want the big money time to step up Dogga. 1 Quote

Last week Tomlinson played well and deserved his spot this week. Why not play Petty in the forward line where he has shown on a few occasions he can mark and kick goals. Surely it is worth a trial. We have one key forward in Brown then no one else. Why not try a player who can mark and kick accurately? 10 Quote
Gawndy the Great 9,011 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Tommo stiff. Would have loved to swing around another tall forward under the roof. We need to exploit their defense especially when we bomb it in long. 2 Quote
WERRIDEE 5,641 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Daniel is a big out he always kills us. 11 Quote
Jaded No More 68,976 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Really feel for Tomlinson. Thought he was finally showing some great form. Maybe Lever is a late out tho and Tomlinson will come straight back in. Also harsh on Toby. Melksham must be doing something that I can’t see. 2 Quote
The heart beats true 18,201 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 It’s an interesting one. I thought our forward line looked quite different last week. Melksham held space differently and we looked to get them out the back more often. I think it’ll be good to get a proper look at it at Marvel. No disrespect to Alice but it was a very difficult game to figure out structurally due to the low camera angles. Love seeing Oliver and Petty back. We aren’t far off our best side - still just trying to figure out our forward game. 7 Quote

We are currently so easy to work out. Kicking in is the same ever game and our one KPF is not in his best form and there is no one else. It is very easy to defend, the opposing can double team Brown and concentrate players to the left flank at kick ins and negate our marking and clearance ability with impurity. We won last week due to an unbelievable effort by one player. 2 Quote
