Anyone think the umpiring is not terrible?

BBB getting marks in the wing and CHF. Need him inside 50 kicking goals. It’s our lack of Tmcd or a CHF that’s a killer !!

But that’s not his fault. He is playing the role he’s being asked to play which is clearly the TMac role.

C’mon Dee’s …. Let’s give 100% … this game is here to be won to stay top two

Someone needs to get into langdons ear about his short sleeve jumper. He looks ridiculous.

Yup, said in a group chat, we have 5 games coming up and can easily lose them all. We haven’t been great all year, we have had great qtrs etc and got wins, but overall been good, but not great and if we play like we have been, including today, we are making up numbers.

See Richmond 2019 and 2020. We are miles ahead of where they were this deep in the season. We don't look great and like them we are only 1-2 losses away from losing a grasp on the top 4. But 2-3 strong wins including this week sets us up. Richmond were 11-6 after 18 rounds in 2019.

we are poo

Our leaders for the 2nd week in a row have failed to stand up.

Gawn, May, Petracca, Salem all poor.

For the past two years we lose games like this. Throw your house at Port.

I can’t see how we win this. Our midfield is embarrassing. Oliver is so clearly the glue that holds us together.

Gawn and Jackson are completely non existent around ground and in the air.

I can see why Melksham was brought in for Oliver.

Vomitous decision 🤮

Any chance there is a 4 goal breeze to left of screen?? 😬

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
