Rubbish.

10 rounds in we were 7-3, had scored 100 more points and conceded 100 fewer points. That's including beltings against Hawthorn and Richmond.

They are definitely similar to our 2018 but suggesting they are already better isn't accurate.

They're good but not better.

Poor and short sighted response...look at the personnel and experience.

They are close to a fully formed team coming into their prime.

We had no defence (Omac & Frosty), were poor on the outside and Oliver & Petracca, particularly Petracca were no where near where they are today.

Forget the score differentials the true story was told in that 2018 prelim final.

Carlton's 2022 story won't be realised until this year is finished but they are certainly ahead of where we were in 2018.

Dog act from Nankervis to interrupt a young lad's debut goal celebration. Good on the Dons for sticking up for each other. Just need to do it for another 10 years without any suppliments and they might win a flag.

Please. No one including Carlton knows where Carlton is this year.

No thanks.  Can't stand the bloke.  Hardly any tricks unless it's down his throat

Would happily swap him for any one of TMac or Weeds.

Naughton will be a star he just doesn’t have a partner in crime atm.

The Saints the most surprising team for me this year. They've shown plenty of ticker. Ratten has done a great job there.

Stop King, you stop the Saints.

I just saw footage of the pregame at Dreamtime at the G. That Richmond circle around their indigenous players was class!

Hearing people yell out ‘Car’n Narrm!’ at the footy today was brilliant.

It’s easy to be cynical about what impact optics create, but I really think this stuff is critical in the evolution of our country, and who we want to be.

I would love to see all other clubs following the respectful acknowledgement of Indigenous name changes during the Indigenous round as The Narrm Demons have done. It's a great way for us all to learn some First Nation place name history. Well done Narrm!

Would it be very wrong to hope that the filth win today?

Was just about to post the same wish ( wash my mouth with soap ) and hawks winning would be great too

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns.
