What the actual …. was that Power player doing when he hit the Crows guy to give the free away, and then the kick was way off line and then swung against its trajectory to go through. You can see a Power fan go up when he kicks it and then slump down in his chair - that’s how off line it was as it was initially kicked. Such an odd end to a game. Port had so many chances to ice that game, but didn’t. incredible… Edited April 1, 2022 by Sir Why You Little Quote
Dee Zephyr 19,311 Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Was listening to Triple M on the drive home, Bernie Vince & Co were going bonkers at the end. Bernie was actually great to listen to. Quote
Maldonboy38 6,435 Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Just watched the highlights etc... of the Port v Crows game Showdowns are great to watch, and this one looked like a great game of footy. Some of the Crows young players really stepped up which might see them emerge from the bottom of the ladder. Might. At least they have a new benchmark. Power played some good footy but don't seem to have a match winner or big moment player. But they seem to lack passion and intent which are usually two of their strengths under Hinkley. That was a brutal incident, even though the contact was not head high. So unnecessary and could only end badly. I hope the young fella from the crows is OK. That was his first game back from neck surgery and he went off holding his neck. Quote
Guest Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Adelaide: whether you love em, hate em or somewhere in between. If those scenes in the coaches’ box, the crowd and the players doesn’t give you the warm and fuzzies, you might wanna check your pulse. You may well be dead. Quote

Even with the game in the balance they seemed to be strolling around the field with no urgency. It was a stark contrast to the intensity of the Mighty DEMONS. Quote
Jibroni 5,056 Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 (edited) Was at the game and had a great view of Dawson kick, one of the best inswinging set shots you will ever see. Great games to watch as a neutral. Edited April 1, 2022 by Jibroni 1 Quote
Nascent 9,345 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Holy crap gold coast get a better clash jumper. Should re-design their home jumper too while they're at it. 1 Quote
Rab D Nesbitt 8,951 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I think the only time those level 2 seats at GWS have had any @rses on them was that prelim against the Dogs a few years ago. Quote
At Least I Saw a Flag 5,352 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 The crowd is going beserk at Giant stadium. Carnage. Quote
Guest Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Did I just see that Tom Green’s goal celebration included kissing a teammate‘European’ style ie, a peck on each cheek? Quote
DubDee 26,669 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I think Derm wants a date with Pruess said he mentions how big he is one more time... he seems to think it’s hilarious 1 Quote
Maldonboy38 6,435 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I thought the crowd at the Dees AFLW was a bit poor - how bad it as at Giants v Suns!! All you can see is a vast panorama of vacant orange seats, Giants players in orange difficult to make out because they blend in with the seats, and the Suns in an absolute shocker of an away guernsey. Abomination. Add to it Brereton bagging on about Preuss, and as bad as the commentary was in the Casey game, it was easier on the eyes than this. Quote

The fire alarm went off in a nearby high rise apartment block and the designated muster point is Giants Stadium. 1 5 Quote

Jaded No More 68,976 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I’m very conflicted about tonight. On the one hand we have Collingwood going 3-0. On the other hand we have Geelong. 2 Quote

Guest Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 I hope Joel Selwood as the record-breaking most-capped captain is given a fitting experience tonight… a merciless hiding at the hands of Collingwood. Quote
Bang Bang Bang 5,875 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Preuss is a good player but I don’t miss the guy at all, he just reminds me of the dark days. Now for my second favorite pastime of the weekend: Barracking against the sooks. Quote
Rab D Nesbitt 8,951 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Doesn't look like there's that much of a crowd at the G tonight either. Should suit Jeremy Howe. He used to play for the current premiers apparently. Quote
darkhorse72 1,943 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Gee Cameron doesn't look interested or switched on. Wondering around on the mark giving away 50. Quote

DubDee 26,669 Posted April 2, 2022 Posted April 2, 2022 Darcy will be fawning over Selwood all game. Already started. ps Gawn is already a better captain than Selwood. 1 flag to nil Quote
