We will blast through 60k. 70k will be a shake from here… maybe next year.

Just amazing.

It is isn't it!

Remember when we released the strategic plan for 2020-2023?  I remember thinking the mens premiership and 75k members was pie in the sky stuff... but we are currently on track.  Others will know better than me how we are doing on the financials and re our facilities.

So this is what is in our strategic plan:

OUR AMBITIONS
FOR 2020-2023

1. ON-FIELD PERFORMANCE

• Play in AFL and AFLW Finals each year

• Win at least 1 AFL and 1 AFLW Premiership

2. FINANCIAL

• Deliver a combined $4m profit over 4 years

• Eliminate debt

• $30m + of income producing assets

3. OUR PEOPLE

• To have a culture that inspires excellence and attracts new talent

4. OUR FANS

• Grow to 75k members

• MCG home game average crowds of 50k +

5. OUR FACILITIES

• Finish construction of high-performance facility at Casey Fields

• Start construction of new Melbourne home base facility

Im predicting 24-25,000 for the game. Easter weekend and lots of families going away for a few days R&R.

Anything over 28,000 would be a great result.

You need to update your name 13, maybe to 15…?

The fact that they still aren't allowing walk up/ins to all games is stopping thousands from going.

It's extremely frustrating. Obviously there are other reasons.

But having to go online to book tickets is just ridiculous with where our state is at. There's no contact tracing any more. Why are we doing it?

100% agree. Plus there is also isolation required for close contacts, even if they are testing negative on RATs.

My GF had Covid during the Bombers game and I had already had it 2 months prior, plus was testing negative to RATs. But due to the rules I couldn't go to the game....

if we are only on par with last years increases from here on in we break the 70000 mark

Last year we added 10k from here on, which would put us around 67k. But we should do even better than last year considering we can actually watch the games and finals live!!!

Yesterday I dropped my kids at holiday program - out of the 15-20 kids there were 3 wearing melbourne jumpers. And this was not a 'footy colours day' or 'dress up day', just 3 little legends wearing their jumpers with pride! 18 months ago you would not see this. Go Dees!!

My kids are wearing their Demons guernsey's/hoodies everywhere they go these days. They get upset when they have to go in the wash! Only solution is to buy more 🤣

All of the reserved seat packages with GF guarantee have sold out. Was a about 3 weeks ago I believe.

Yep had a look then and sold out already, good for the club!

Had a look and mine auto-renewed in October, glad that happened cos I definitely would have spaced it out a little, bought last years in June

Today is 'Membership Day' on SEN.

Club has a special promotion:  6 Home games GA membership for $66.00.  Has priority access ticket rights to first 3 rounds of finals ie not the GF.

I just bought 2 for friends/family who might want to come along.  They are GA memberships so can't sit in my level 2 Reserved Redlegs area but seats can be reserved for them at $30 each for level 2A to sit together.

Pretty good deal!

Detail here:  membership/666-6-games

Edit:  I bought them on my account but they can also be bought in for a new member account if that is preferred.  I found it a lot easier to just buy them and allocate them as each game comes up to whoever is free to go to the game.  Just rang the club and done in a few minutes.

    BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die!
