Did someone say we aren't making players available for the media...

...looking at you Caro!

Our media promo just had us in our red back guernsey? Surely we’re not wearing them? I actually like it but wouldn’t see why...

I'm also worried about the pants and shoes. Hope we don't go in with those as our match day kit!

Caro fairly and squarely put back in her place today by the players instead of her shooting her mouth off why not wait and see. The club were very good in 2018 why would this change now?.

Looking for a headline grabbing opportunity during a GF build up.

Aside from this year we usually wear the red back against the Dogs in away games.

We won’t be wearing it in the GF unless we request to.

The 2 week strain is really showing when this becomes a topic for discussion. .

We did originally have to wear the red backs against the dogs, but earlier this year we wore our regular jumper. Interesting though Viney is also wearing one...

As the higher-ranking team we deserve to wear the red and blue traditional strip.

As the home team. We should be in traditional jumpers and blue shorts.

Dogs as the away team should be in white shorts with their away (white strip)

will be bloody annoyed if it's not that way - we have earned the right as minor premier and straight through

Never mind the redbacks, we might be looking at barking spiders if they did that.

I'd be more annoyed if the AFL told us to wear the red back shirt over us choosing to wear it.

It would be wrong for them to force us to change because a) The AFL let the doggies wear their home shirt full well knowing there is a slight clash. b) Officially announcing both teams would wear their traditional garb and c) we are the home team, doggies can wear white.

There must be a reason behind this, I can’t see how all the players in the media photos would all be in the red back jumper out of coincidence…I hope we wear our traditional strip.

Apparently Richmond drove a lot of revenue from sales of their 2017 premiership clash strip.

Yeah we have been told by AFL and 7 to wear red backs. I reckon  they announced ‘traditional strip’ hoping that we would all be none the wiser. Absolute Joke! We deserve the home strip. While it isn’t a massive departure from our home jumper, it is not our jumper.

Where did you see this?

I suspect we were wearing the redback jumpers because we've sent our regular jumpers off to get the Grand Final logo heat pressed onto them.

We stopped wearing the redback jumper after the 2019 season. We don't sell it any more.

The AFL has already confirmed we're wearing our regular jumper, too.

It's not needed against the Dogs (or West Coast, a side we've also worn it against). Their jumpers are royal blue and there is no clash with our much darker navy blue.

So why would we have them with us in Perth in 2021?

"It's officially time for some alarm bells. I'm concerned about the lack of impact from their best players." This comment about one of the teams contesting this Friday night’s game came earlier in the week from a so-called expert radio commentator by the name of Kane Cornes. He wasn’t referring to the Melbourne Football Club but rather, this week’s home side, Geelong. The Cats are purring along with 1 win and 2 defeats and a percentage of 126.2 (courtesy of a big win at GMHBA Stadium in Round 1 vs Fremantle) which is one win more than Melbourne and double the percentage so I guess that, in the case of the Demons, its not just alarm bells, but distress signals. But don’t rely on me. Listen to Cornes who said this week about Melbourne:- “They can’t run. If you can’t run at speed and get out of the contest then you’re in trouble.
