The club emailed me a barcode for members pre sale access to the PF and said we can pass it on if we want.
If anyone on Demonland needs a barcode and can prove to me via DM that they are in WA* and are actually Melbourne fans (ideally a member without an early access barcode), I am happy to pass it along.

*or in another state but able to gain access to WA

Edit: if Geelong fans are reading this forum thinking they can snatch a barcode they can [censored] right off. I would literally burn my membership before I give a Geelong supporter the ability to go to the game 😂

I’m a Redleg member with guaranteed Finals. The club just emailed me the pre sale for Prelim tickets.

it said I can buy a maximum of 8 tickets.

I’m assuming I can buy them and give them to whoever I want?

I've yet to receive the email but in talking with the club they mentioned the tickets need to be bought in the name of the person attending not in the name of the member.

Could folks check their email to see if there is any info on this.

Thanks.

just passed on my 4 to a family in WA who i work with - they are rapt because apparently tickets are hard to come by? Naturally the condition was "yell like hell for the Dees" - being Eagles fans they accepted

Nothing specifically, but it does say pass the barcode on, not buy the ticket and pass the ticket on, so would assume it does need to be in name of person attending?

Don't see how they would police that anyway, unlikely they are checking ID's of every person entering the ground.

I'm guessing it would be to do with covid tracking.

And if the tickets are only on electronic/mobile phones it pays for the person buying the ticket to use their own info.

I spoke previously of my reluctance to attend the GF (for my own personal reasons, although I bought flight tickets for those dates). Going to the PF is a bit different, and does fulfil my sense of duty to an extent. Flights are cheap for this week also. I'll check my eligibility now to enter the state, but will put my hand up for a barcode if someone wants to sponsor me with a barcode to attend on their behalf. How much are the match tickets? Doesn't matter much, so long as they're not outrageous.

Scrap that - I forgot again that I can't go based on current restrictions.

More than happy to share. Have 6, 2 adults and 4 juniors if that matters.

Will they be doing the same for the grand final?
Mum and I have both got GF guarantee’s and provided we make it and tassie boarders stay open, we’ll be there!! My sister doesn’t have a membership though and is hoping WA open their borders to QLD.

Between the 3 of us, we make a hell of a racket!

If any members in Vic that has Gf  guarantees and can’t make it to Perth please pm me . I’m a Melb  supporter in Perth and would love to get seats to cheer the boys on if we make the Gf

Hi all.

Clearly a newcomer here and for one reason only. Son of a lifelong demon living in Perth and looking to get along to the prelim and hopefully the big one beyond. Taking a few along to yell for the red and blue. Any help appreciated. Happy to discuss any terms. Thanks

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
