😂My brother (who’s getting the premiership tattoo on his bum “So does this mean you’re getting one on one of your breast?”

🙄 Me (who’s never had a tattoo in her life) “Err… no…”

When in her 20’s my sister got a red rose tattooed on her breast. She said “unlike a real rose this rose will never wilt or sag. It’ll stay beautiful forever.” I said, “let’s see what the mortician says when you’re an old woman lying in your coffin.” Methinks there’ll be sagging and wilting aplenty. 😆

She need not worry, WCW? - perhaps its petals will be beautifully di-splayed?

Posters / interested followers: Are tattooists open then? Any recommendations in the south east? (further out the better)

I think tattoo parlours will be one of the last types of business to reopen. 😞

If I was, who would I show it to? Lovers? That’s fine. Siblings or parents? No way in hell. What’s the point? Besides it’s hurts like hell there

Can I make a suggestion as I’m unlikely to get a tatt… if anyone is short of ideas, how about a grave headstone done in the style of the old Tales From the Crypt comics (with a skeletal hand reaching out from the grave, holding a Sherin), with the inscription “Norm Smith Curse 1964 - 2021”

Either above or below (or even on the Sherin), could be the Melbourne Demons Premiers 2021 line.

Here’s a couple of images that show the style of the artwork, not the actual image I would envisage though… it should be a front on of the gravestone with that hand holding the Sherin, projecting from the ground.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. Once again the club’s top goal scorer but he had a few uncharacteristic flat spots during the season and the club will be looking for much better from him in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
