Not enough injuries.

Glad we dodged the Port bullet.

Totally unfair to have teams have no Home Ground advantage but QLD and SA teams do. Should have both Prelims in Perth / especially since GF will be there.

Same as last year though. Richmond got past Port Adelaide in the prelim.

We can avoid this unfairness by winning tomorrow, too.

Except for our best performance of the year, when we beat Port Adelaide.

True that. Hope it’s an Adelaide Oval thing….

Port are in the box seat to make the Grannie now, with a home Prelim.

They cocked it up last year when they got the ride of home games, won the first final and hosted a side who'd been hubbing all year.

But clearly we do not want to lose tomorrow and be sent to their prelim.

We’d likely have to get over the Dogs first. Needing to beat the Dogs and then Port in Adelaide just to make the GF would be a very tough road.

I’ve said all season Geelong play horrible football. Solid defensively, but with the ball it’s a pale and boring imitation of prime Hawks. Baffles me how they almost finished top. The last 3 weeks they’ve come up against good teams that wouldn’t accept that boring chippy [censored] and it’s shown them up beautifully.

Geelong are cooked cooked cooked, imagine have grandpa's like Isaac Smith and Shaun Higgins for another 2 years, Geelong are going into next year with a even older side, dangerous is cooked, Hawkins is cooked, Mitch Duncan get heaps of the ball but does not hurt, the most overrated player.

I think we were all more scared of their personnel than their game style. That aura has completely disappeared now.

O’Connor getting injured is a huge blow for Geelong. He’s their main tagger and if we come up against them in the Prelim, it’s comfortable knowing Oliver won’t get tagged by him.

Probs sound like a cranky toddler but this is so not fair! Why shouldn’t they have to play their prelim in WA. Understandable if there’s no other choice but for the purposes of a level playing field, don’t let em sleep in their owns beds then after two weeks off, play at home with their own fans. What a gift!

Geelong cheat to make  top 4 every year, there game plan is good in home and away,, but more often then not it does not stand up in finals, imagine they are going into next year with most of their veteran signed up, dangerous and Selwood are cooked, are only good for cameos.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
