GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Adelaide

Kozzie doesn't look like he's in a good place mentally. I think we might be playing him because it's good for him mentally and we want him good to go for the next 10 years rather than because he's giving us much right now.

Brayshaw terrible fumble

Good team goal that one

This is hard to watch on so many levels not only are we lazy and sloppy the sun and shadows are making this horrible.

Well done Kosi. Made something from that dogs breakfast of a kick from Clarry.

4 minutes ago, leave it to deever said:

We are playing some very lazy footy .

It’s because we got to the dangerous 30-odd point lead.

We need to be either over 40 points (safe) or about 20 points for us to not be complacent.

Lazy Clarrie.  Inexcusable

Just doing enough.

Oliver is the worst shot for goal I think I have ever seen. More confidence in James Manson.

Oliver my man, please learn to kick….

Kicking is appalling

Weird kick by Oliver to Pickett.  Really sloppy skills and decisions all over the ground.

Crows just happen to be worse.

And another shocking kick from Oliver straight our of boundf

Inside 50 work has been deplorable, but that's standard for us.

Our kicking is rubbish, Harmes, clarry, Trac and sparrow all culpable

Clarry needs to stop talking about what an ordinary kick he is. It’s becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Tracc held out of that contest

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
