Gutsy win by the Filth.ย  Elliot was superb.ย  Sidebottom, Pendles and Noble also solid.

I really don't get the eating their own on Buckley.ย  ย Took them to within a kick of a Premiership.ย  They were always going to come off the boil list wise after being thereabouts for so long.

This.

As a result of that win, Collingwood jump from 16th on the ladder all the way up to .... 16th.ย

Let's keep them there.

ย

When someone is outside 50 metres and takes 30 second to take a shot with no chance of kicking it with a minute to go it a mockery. Totally kills the game.

Alright, Collingwood has got their win out of the way and can dine out on bathwater all this week.

I really hate the filthย  but I agree with jaded in that there is some solutions to them winning this one before we play them. I would be looking for a comfortable win at the MCG but at that krappy little shizenhausen the SCG I am not so sure.

Well the Crows have had a good week - $50,000 off their softย cap for behaving like arrogant d/heads and losing to the filth on their own dung heap. Guffaw!

Im sure we'll turn up and beat them next week

Good for Collingwood to win their grand final tonight. They look very pleased with themselves. Canโ€™t wait to belt them next week

They will be favorites now against us. they did beat the only team to beat us so logic should prevail....

Again I say watching that insipid performance by the crows it's so embarrassing we lost to them. My god that keys player smashedย us and in the final quarter he couldn't use it properly.ย

That last passage where they had to go forward they were handballing backwards. Not running through the centre. Also walker had a mare kicking 2-6. Where was that inaccuracy weeks ago?ย

This. We could so easily be undefeated right now

A lot of really nice indigenous jumpers this season but geez, you canโ€™t go past ours for the pick of the crop.ย

Totally agree. Ours looked really really good.ย

Do you know who designed it @WalkingCivilWar?

It was a cracker

Tigers looks pretty good also

It was a flash in the pan. They happened to play out of their skin the same day we were off. And they still only managed to beat us by one point with help from the umpires. We've since beaten the teams in second and third so no point dwelling on it. We have plenty to look forward to whereas the Crows have played their grand final already.ย

I would rather lose to a nothing team that wonโ€™t get anywhere near the 8, than lose to a top side in direct competition with us for a top 4 spot.ย
Losing to Adelaide is a blimp on the radar and nobody will remember it in September, nor would it matter.ย
Losing later in the season to Port or West Coast or Geelong would be far more costly.ย

Oh wonโ€™t you please STTAAAAANDย by me

oooih STTAAAAANND by me

Essendonโ€™s has so many colours but theyโ€™re all red. 50 shades of red.ย

Bear in mind we weren't in the richest vein of form at the time, justย hanging on in games. I choose to think the loss was the catalystย to kicking us back into gear for the 2 massive games that followed. Plus the 'undefeated' tag becomes a monkey on the back - while I hated losing the Adelaide game, as least we got aย loss out of the way.

ย

That Andrew Phillips goal... did Mclachlan say โ€œitโ€™s a goal. His first. Heโ€™s equalled his career high.โ€ ???? Maybe Iย imagined he said that. I hope I imagined he said that.ย

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmyโ€™s inclusive bannerโ€”"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecastโ€”20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze โ€” expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
