Go the forken Demons.
Make no mistake.
We are top forken class.
They keep racking the contenders up, we keep knockin 'em down.
Forken awesome.

Another soft free in the middle to BNE

I'd love to hear from all the Petty doubters right now, where you at?

He's been solid tonight, like he has the last few weeks.

This is getting boring.
JK. Winning is never boring.
GO THE MIGHTY DEES

Petty is really slotting in nicely, he is looking calmer with each game

If Sam Weideman can find something we look unstoppable.

Weideman goal kicking utter trash

He looked like a bloke who knows he's not playing next round.

Great call. Thought the same. A few frees against that have been iffy, but shouldve received 4 or 5. Has been a good intercept marker too.

Who have we beaten now!!!!!!!

Brisbane haven't played out of QLD until today. Cruisers.

We just have too many ordinary footballers. No way we are winning a flag this year. Typical Melbourne, pump up your tyres, then deflate you when the crunch comes. So disappointing.

You were saying?

Weed still doing enough …. and he IS a far better kick than that.

It’s a grand old flag!!!!

GET READY TO SING GUYS!!’n

How the goodness do the umps manage 30 per cent more free kicks to a side that gets beaten by four goals?

PLEASE EXPLAIN

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?

It was only a preseason match but the new look Demons spearheaded by new coach Steven King looked impressive as they put on a clinic against perennial cellar-dwellers North Melbourne as they cruised to an 80 point victory at Casey Fields.
