Strong suggestions that these 'removalists' were moving a lot more than furniture across state lines.

Regardless they broke multiple rules clearly stated on their Freight Permit, including prolonged interaction with clients and not wearing masks.

So yes 10/10 would throw them and their bosses in jail.

At the very least A Current Affair should be chasing them through a car park like they do to dodgy builders and people that have swindled the fortunes from some granny in an online pyramid scheme.

Hahaha and then Today Tonight will have a pixilated interview with a 'whistle blower' from inside the company... "they bullied me and called me mask face if I tried to wear one".

Posted this in another thread but probably more relevant here, re why Ess game moved to Qld:

AFL spreading the risk across states rather than having 12 teams 'stuck' in Victoria and theu looking forward to who plays who in rounds 19 and 20.

In rounds 19 and 20 Ess play GWS and Syd who have also flown to Qld.  Then GWS and Syd play SA or WA teams and they are banking on it being easier those games played and teams back to SA and WA respectively.

Apparently, Bulldogs preparing for a stint out of Vic.  They play Adelaide in round 19 so likely to be in SE Qld.

I can see mini hubs forming in SE Qld for most of the teams that flew up today.

I wouldn't be surprised if the AFL swap some games around in the latter rounds to enable the season to be finished.

Who knew removalists could cause such carnage. Thanks to these selfish Muppets our state has been turned on its head. We were doing so well before they came.

Also to that family that came back from Sydney & decided to go to coles & spread it to you are just as bad.

This delta variant is next level contagious. I'm not sure even lock downs will be able to contain it.

And there will always be someone who doesn't follow the rules. Expecting otherwise is deluded

The Feds need to pull out all the stops to increase supply of vaccines otherwise they'll be out on their arses after the next election. We are in serious danger of squandering all our good work up to this point

I woke up this morning to a lengthy text from NSW health stating that I had recently worked at site with at least 3 confirmed cases. My family all got Covid tests this morning, if they get a negative they are free to go back to normal but I must remain in isolation for 14 days regardless. Again the consistency….

This on the back of my comment yesterday about the Western Bulldogs.

The only positive from this is I will save money by not buying pints on the weekend .

So demons fans just can’t be let enjoy this season and go see the boys play

the worst part is the chance of the season going belly up. However unlikely it makes me feel ill

Thanks, the NSW website there was an active case there on July 1st but person only tested positive yesterday. I was there on the 12th, when I spoke to contact tracers earlier they said they are now 3 confirmed cases from that site. I was contracting there, working alone outside but did briefly go into their office and use bathroom facilities.

Dan Murphy's deliver to your door. Cheaper than the pub though

Well no need to be angry about a game in Darwin now. Seems we will be back to sunny QLD for that game.
We better not miss the Dogs game at the G tho.

3 to 5 day lockdown is the tip, from midnight tonight.

Dammit!

I was looking forward to attending the game at the MCG between the Demons and the Hawks on Saturday afternoon! I had my ticket organised and everything!

Was keen to see Big Benny Brown kick a few goals!

Hopefully the game still goes ahead, and I can, at the very least, watch it on TV.

There's already been a movie made about those dodgy removalists.

The only question I have is who the hell is Kenny Carter?

Don't want to make it about money but 3 home games now effectively kaput if this goes through. Pert is going to have some stressful nights looking at the balance sheets.

My Mrs is not happy at all about this lockdown, she has tickets to see Magic Mike on sunday and now will be stuck with the not-so-Magic DubDee.

I might start by seductively peeling my socks off one at a time

Out on their arses is exactly where those lying tu.ds. belong.

Lets Fly Melb and Hawthorn to Alice Springs today, spend 2 weeks in the NT and hopefully we can get on top of this in Victoria.

But the family is not being penalised, because Commandant Weimar says they are, now, doing the right thing.

Like the last 3-5 day lockdown that went on for 2 or 3 weeks?

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.

Despite a spirited third quarter surge, the Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, remaining winless and second last on the ladder after a 39-point defeat to Essendon at Adelaide Oval in Gather Round.
