Richmond doctors looking at Lynch head clash footage for concussion examination, apparently ?

That's a tough one. I think he may be permanently concussed.

Forget the Saints we have to play this Richmond mob in 10 days minus May and Fritta.  ?

Are Richmond in the 8? ....oh yeah just... :)

Can't believe they put Selwood in special comments

"St Kilda have got to duck more here ... they need to pull something out, they should be throwing the ball at every opportunity ... the game is on the line, I don't understand why they're not whingeing to the umpires."

Brad hill. So glad we didn’t get him (hindsight) as he is a flat track bully.

That’s putting it politely! ?

The Saints are just leaving it a bit longer than last week to start their come back so it'll be even more spectacular

900k a year over 5 years, that's one way to destroy your cap.

in the 35th minute of the Quarter!

Tigers scored 7 goals 6.

could be a 100 point win coming up

St Kilda playing the tiges into form for us?

Better than us playing the tigres into form i guess.....

Saints come back...commenciiiiing NOW!

What....no come back??

Apparently the season is a marathon and St Kilda will be fine.  I didn't know Selwood had such a generous spirit.

Port in Adelaide next week.

Still, football is hideously fickle and I'm strangely glad we don't play them again.

What does it say for West Coast in Melbourne?

Maybe the Saints just played a one off blinder (half).  Every team is capable of it at a few times a year i guess.

St Kilda's best and worst are so far apart. Best is finals material. Worst is bottom 2 tripe.

This is non-competitive stuff right here, as it was two weeks ago. How they managed to get back from 33 points down against West Coast may well be one of the 2021 season's biggest mysteries.

Biggest worry is the Tigers look very menacing, have a few days extra rest on us and we have no Fritta or May. Let's get over the Hawks first then start crapping ourselves to face Tigers with 3 less days rest. Good luck to us.

This.

The rest of your post can be considered on Sunday evening.

The worst thing we can do is think about ANZAC Eve. Yes, it's a big game, and yes, it will be exciting if we go into it in form, but if we're thinking about it now we'll be 4-2 after it.

Yep, think they'll smash us. We might have them in the midfield. That'd be it.

One of the most pathetic efforts by a team I’ve seen in a while. Well done saints.

Lynch didn’t do much in the 2nd half. Any chance of a concussion? Best to be on the safe side and Give him 12 days to recover

It’s actually better the Tigers having a big win. If they had lost 3 on the trot they’d be fired up for next week

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
