Loving this winning feeling ❤️?

Even when Toby kicked two in two, I didn't feel worried. This is a good team we're watching. Kosi is next level genius.

I know many won’t agree but they shouldn’t be singing the song tonight. Stand in the circle, speak some truths and move on.

Kozzy ‘Prime Time’ Pickett.

Thank you Jason Taylor.

3-0 and a lot of positives again.

Viney and Angus got plenty of the footy and more miles in their legs.  Pickett awesome.  LJ with more improvement,.

Too bad we let Toby greene get off the chain for 5 goals but hes a very good player

Wow! Three and zip! So happy!

Looking at the fixture in the preseason I think all of us would be happy with being 3 zip.

I felt like we weren't tracking that well leading into round 1 with players coming back from injury. The boys have beaten the teams in front of them and have had enough time to get settled into the season. Hopefully the boys know that the teams they have played haven't been cherry ripe either and don't get too far ahead of them.

Geelong next week. We have hit form and will be ready for them. Really looking forward to it.

I’m convinced that kozzy is the love child of Aaron Davey and Jeff farmer.

Wow. You are a sad individual.

for me it was Gawn / Langdon / Pickett... Kossie's goals kept us in it.

Once again, we should have won by a lot more. But again I'll take it.

We'll need to be a hell of a lot cleaner at the G next week,..and if we win that?   I WILL BELIEVE  ❤️ ?

Always good to win but we so need Brown or Weed back. TMac not suited by conditions but he just won’t cut it. Also Jetta big question marks

It was tough but a win.

Maxi after the game hahaha “ekelon” instead of echelon. “We’re in the top ekelon...”

No clue, Giants played well, we were better stronger and fitter.

We beat them without Oliver doing a single thing. I know they had a lot down on the bench, but Melbourne of old would crumble after Greene kicks those two. We stood up and won big.
Exciting and important to be 3-0 without Brown.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
