Lever  . His best game for us I reckon

May     Just terrific positioning. Can give any forward a contest

Oliver.  His accumulation is critical to us.

Tmac.  Fittest he's been for about 3 years.

Trac.   A real bull in the first quarter especially.

Jordan. A great debut. Looks accomplished

I concur. Honourable mention to Spargo

Thought Clarry got better and as usual racked up the possessions, but boy he butchered a lot.

Spargo - obv a fan - but he is the link man. Sees the plays and executes - good defensive pressure too. Will get more consistent.

Best game I’ve seen from Lever so he must get the 6 votes!

80% disposal efficiency (28 effective disposals). I reckon that’s pretty good for a round 1 effort.

25 of his 35 touches were handballs.

He was in our best 6 players but his DE can be misleading.

Just no. Had a shocker.

Max has set a ridiculous standard. We expected him to dominate today. He didn't and was a bit quiet but certainly didn't have a shocker.

I don't think he likes pushing forward.  In the second half he went back to playing ruck and dropping back into the hole and he started looking much better.

Yeah right. That surprises me tbh. Maybe butchered is the wrong word then. Indecisive early, but definitely got better. Maybe too many short, go nowhere handballs etc. a bit rusty, and as someone else said, maybe trialling a new clearance approach...

Yeah, surprised me too. I thought he had a rough game and couldn't believe he had that much of it at that efficiency.
