Someone needs to get fired for leaking the Holmes pick.

Unless it was Mahoney and then he needs to be sued.

Bad clubs leak. Good clubs don’t. That’s pretty much it.

This shambles of a club can’t keep making unforced errors.

What is your evidence anything was leaked?

Pretty common knowledge how players are rated and which ones specific clubs are interested in.

Collingwood have absolutely cleaned this draft up.

They have just traded in pick 24 and pick 30.

I'll be honest, can't say I am that excited with our picks so far.

The academies And father son is how you win the draft now. They’ve had it so easy with McIness and Daicos next year

No one was talking about Holmes until Twomey’s phantom and then Geelong trade in right in front of us. If we kept things close they wouldn’t have known

They gave up their first next year for 24 & 30, we did it for 18/19? They got lucky with Reef, but your post makes no sense.....

Publicly maybe, but the AFL is a tiny industry where everyone knows each other, it's usually pretty common knowledge which players clubs are keen on leading up to the draft.

Calling for people to be fired or sued is a bit silly.

Did you hear about Mahoney going and Choco coming in before it happened? Didn’t think so. We don’t leak and haven’t for years

calm down

Not sure where you heard that mate, most things I've heard or read have been the complete opposite.

Looks ok to me...

Yes never heard of draftee, no matter the pick number not having skills! It’s about deciphering the code. What’s the old one, if the player’s assets are footy smarts and quick hands it means the player is as slow as treacle across the ground. They are all potential champions until they are tested in their first season or two, then the failure/delist rate is what 30%?

It's unlike you to overthink things...

That looked a bit nasty by Collingwood.  Traded up to bid on Coleman and as soon as Lions matched they traded down again.

That just narrows it down to the recruiting team.

Personally, I was really hoping that Laurie would get past GSW to us.

With Cook gone, we might trade of our next pick now

Carroll is still there.

Edit: Probably gone before our next pick though

Unlike Melbourne to continue to not think at all.

The draft is so vital. You have to guard your order like state secrets especially with a high upside bolter who fits a huge need. Once again we’ve made it so easy for the opposition.

Good get by the Crows to get local lad Cook. He looks a real talent and I’m annoyed we passed on him with earlier picks when he was still available. He’s quicker than both the guys we drafted and kicks more goals too.

Perhaps he told them he wanted to stay in SA?

We don’t need 2 small forwards. We do need 2 good kicks. Plenty of other needs if we really wanted to patch holes in the 22

How many small forwards do we need? Kossie, Spargo, ANB, Chandler, Viney, who I would like to see play as a defensive forward/mid, Bedford, Hunt....now two more!

I think for balance, Rosman might be the more desired path now.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
