Laurie has poor skills apparently and needs work.

His kicking efficiency is elite according to the Fox footy telecast.

Passed on both Cook and Carroll. Seems like a [censored] up, but just gotta trust the recruiters I guess!

Laurie and Bowey are two blokes who are described as great users with good footy IQ who never waste a disposal - makes perfect sense to me why we would be interested in both.

Mentioned it on the Laurie thread, but both of these guys could easily push further up the ground (with Pickett) in the coming years.  Just because they are more forward type players doesn't mean they stay there for the long term.

Lots to work with here and I like it from the club.

We could get one at our next pick.

happy with that, Bowey probably would've been available at 28 but both suit our needs, either could play on a wing as well long term

Draft Central rated his Disposal as Elite, and one of his strengths was Clean Skills

I guess I'll eventually warm to these picks.

Laurie looks more exciting than Bowie.

Two small forwards! Yes!

I pretty much won't need to post anything on this forum again.

Someone needs to get fired for leaking the Holmes pick.

Unless it was Mahoney and then he needs to be sued.

Bad clubs leak. Good clubs don’t. That’s pretty much it.

This shambles of a club can’t keep making unforced errors.

Collingwood have absolutely cleaned this draft up.

They have just traded in pick 24 and pick 30.

I'll be honest, can't say I am that excited with our picks so far.

Sounds like we’re drafting for needs tonight rather than best available.

We don’t need 2 small forwards. We do need 2 good kicks. Plenty of other needs if we really wanted to patch holes in the 22

This stuff comes out every single year.

A function of drafting so few players with elite kicking skills in tbe last decade.

I could not be more pleased they have bitten tbe bullet and focused on addressing our greatest need - great kicks.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
