Damn I was hoping that Adelaide would match St Kilda for Crouch, solid pick up for them.

GWS did well with Jesse, basically a free hit with him. If it doesn’t work out then nothing really lost on their end. As for Freo, another big trade bust for them! ?

EDIT also wanted to mention it’s absolutely incredible the clubs are going through the trade period without confirming what the list sizes will be. Amateur hour from the AFL.

You don't offer 3 year contracts to players you think are spuds. So the dogs obviously see what i see in him. 190cm small forward that can run and jump and has kicked a clutch goal in finals.

Be interesting how this trade plays out.  Bulldogs are getting a player that Adelaide should bid on for pick 1.  I cant remember the discount you get for nga bids.  It would be great to find a way to bundle up Hannan with some  picks and go after bulldogs first round pick

What do you think of the longer contracts we have previously offered to Harmes and TMac, Preuss and Tomlinson?

Ffs. Why are the Saints now the destination club? And how is their salary cap???

Big $$$ to get Carlisle. Big $$$ to get Hannebery. Big $$$ to get Hill.  Big $$$ to get Crouch. Billings must be in decent $$. Steele etc will hold out their hand for more $$$

and now can they afford extra $700k year for Treloar!!??!!!!?

Like Mahoney they said it is unlikely but are monitoring the situation, like I'm sure everyone is.

Absolute nothing article.

carlisle was on big money; currently doesn't have a contract

hill they frontloaded last year, crouch is going to them on less money than he was on at the crows, billings is ooc at the end of next season, and no guarantee to stay at the aints beyond that as they've moved past him

they also have a number of veterans on relatively low contracts - geary, ryder, ross - who are key to their best 22

i think they've managed their list build quite well, but i don't think they're necessarily in a better or worse position than us, really

The AFL trade period is so boring.

A player has to consent to to being traded which means nothing surprising ever happens and we know all the moves weeks in advance anyway.

And still they run this trade radio crap.

they have drafted so poorly that they had very few A graders in the team so plenty of cash to spend on trade-ins

The 'grunt' type of midfielder that Essendon has needed for a couple of years now.

This is where we could get involved, assuming Essendon get pick 8 for Saad because the dogs won't want an early pick in this years draft. I'd ask about sending our 1st round (2021), pick 26 & 53 (2020) and Hannan to the Dogs and TMac to the bombers, the Dogs sending Dunkley to Ess while we get picks 8 and 14 this year. The Bombers don't have any 2nd round picks this year

Dees: Out 2021 1st, pick 26 & 53 (2020) Hannan & TMac In: pick 8 & 14 2020.

Dogs: out Dunkley, pick 14 In: 2021 1st (from Dees) & pick 26 & 53 (2020) & Hannan

Ess: out pick 8 In: Dunkley & TMac

I would do that, especially to get TMac off the books. Could potentially trade into next years draft to, via the Pies, if we wanted.

Move on Dr and Dee3031 we are still living on his marvellous Geelong Semi sealing goal in 2018.

Mitch had all season to hit form and didn't succeed and I will Not forgive him fir the last pass to Fritsch in the last quarter at Metricon vs Lions instead of passing to Jack Viney 30 m out on his own OR having a shot himself.!!!

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
