Your an embarrassment to yourself Mach 5 ( or should it be Mach --5 ) because that's how low you stoop.

If Perty has something in the Closet you are  either too embarrassed to mention OR it's just a despicable and underhand fake attack on our Club Administration leader who has  plenty of credits in the Bank.

No matter how you try to  discredit Gary your not succeeding and the likelihood of a very personal and false attack is greater but more in vain and less likely after every success our CEO is ticking as the weeks and days go by.

You probably are trying to water down the enormous effects that our Premiership is having as it brings more praise on the Club, our Officials and our players as each day goes by!

Give it a rest ie put up with the facts or please SHUT UP.

Easy there champ.
All I hear is “how dare anyone criticise a club official after what we’ve done!”

Have a lie down, don’t hurt yourself, bask in the groupthink.
Fact is that plenty of clubs have won with less than perfect people in key positions.
However I’d love for you to outline what he has done so well, without demanding others do the opposite and expose themselves to accusations of libel.

Well it us up to you as the instigator of some alleged dirt or otherwise to reveal why you are now  a very  lone voice in the wilderness on your "Get and try and remove Perty" campaign.

it must be very deep and personal if it occurs that you aren't or won't detail your reason for your attacks.

it is plain for any Melb supporter to see the credits and success Gary has been in the role over 3 years and proven to many doubters  he was the absolute right choice for the top job of CEO.

Over to you Mach --05 as I said put up or .......!!

We’re very fortunate the football dept culture has been built strongly before his time, because he’s not the man to do it.

I’m also not going to applaud the guy for managing to re-sign a major sponsor following a flag. Setting the bar fairly low.

Once again, you say a lot but reveal nothing. Quite Pathetic really.
Put up or shut up, your comments are offensive

I’m still skeptical on Pert and I enjoy a contrarian view so I’m with you.

But I must admit promoting Richo seemed to work well. As did hiring their old Collingwood mate in Choco. No idea if Yze was a Richo/Goody/Pert driven move but that’s been a success too.

My main worry with Pert has been he’s talked of massive growth of the club, where PJ seemed keen on Melbourne being a highly successful mid sized but well run and efficient club.

Jaguar actually plays more to the latter. Especially when the Pies sign up KFC! Keen to see who we have joining us for the future and if the focus can be more on providing members a quality club than attempting Eddie style franchise inflation.

The bloke restructured the footy department, stuck fat with goody, brought in Yze and Williams, finally delivers a prem and you reckon we’re successful in spite of him

Did he turn you down for a job, steal your girlfriend or kill your family pet?

I’d just like some facts/examples relating to his axe to grind. From this side of the fence it seems an odd hill to bury yourself on when we’re looking “reasonable” at this point in time.

Hey isn't it good to see a sponsor stick with us. Remember years ago when we were pleading for a back of the jumper sponsor

No apparently he gave the job to the girlfriend, stole the pet and threatened Mach5 and cancelled his membership.

Yep...one would think they couldn't wait to get back on.

Winners are grinners.

But jags are crap cars. Mabe that's harsh....I guess they have probably changed a lot but I still remember my mates brother spent ten grand on his xjs repairs.it certainly looked good.

I always think of the madman scene re nags but TX for the support.

That was for last season. Don’t think there has been confirmation of 2022.

I would not be surprised if they pulled out rpfc. Jaguar / Land Rover have been doing poorly in the market. Could be the next to leave the Australian market. They could hardly blame the MFC for poor coverage.

LtD Jaguars are a far better vehicle now, I watched the Factory on Discovery very thorough production techniques in 2021, my brother also had an XJS back in the 80’s which wasn’t so hot.😱😱

This is nonsensical mate. PJ aimed lower because where he started was near rock bottom.

Pert and co have built on those PJ foundations and looked to grow the club. The idea that we shouldn't aim to be a big club and aim to be a middling club instead is mindblowingly stupid and not at all in line with running a multi million dollar business in a multi billion dollar competition.

I see a story in today's hun about Richmond going green. It seems Jeep is no longer a sponsor. From the article it is not certain who flung who. With going green does that mean Richmond has requested no night games? Because think of all coal produced electricity that is used on night games. Surely they could not be party to that!

evry time i was in a jag it was hot! Overheated even on a cool day but as u say they looked good

Just goes to show if the product is not right ( Jeep have poor reputation for quality and service) no amount of sponsorship will make the product sell.

They have a contingency plan for this

If they sold 90 to 100 cars this season  to Dees supporters alone at an average price of $100k+ea. Not a bad return on the sponsorship. Add the media exposure/coverage based on us playing in all the finals, winning the GF after 57years which saw the news story go global, I think they would be  very  happy to get back on board.

Yes the amount of media coverage given to Top 4 Finals Teams is a huge difference to what we were used to beforehand.
that is what i noticed this year, being Front and Center.
that kind of exposure is big $$$’s to pay for. Way more than the Sponsorship outlay

Jag would have been really happy with their exposure, not being in the media, but I wonder what the $ value of the exposure is compared to what they paid for the sponsorship.    As for jag/landrover leaving. I doubt it they have  a very lucrative segment of the market here,  No shortage of land/range rovers in Perth (assume the same around most cities), plus a bit of a waiting list for their new defender model I hear. (The quality is far better than it once was, and they are owned by Tatar (Indian car company))

the question is what price we are asking for the 2022 sponsorhip assuming Jaguar didn't have a multi year deal?

The ultimate prize for most clubs is an airline (do we still have China Southern) but I'm thinking new age...

Tesla here we come or perhaps SpaceX !!

i wonder if sponsorship deals have bonus incentives?

such as $x for winning > n games, making finals, winning the flag etc

  • CASEY: Geelong

There was a time in the second quarter of the game at the Cattery on Friday afternoon when the Casey Demons threatened to take the game apart against the Cats. The Demons had been well on top early but were struggling to convert their ascendancy over the ground until Tom Fullarton’s burst of three goals in the space of eight minutes on the way to a five goal haul and his best game for the club since arriving from Brisbane at the end of 2023. He was leading, marking and otherwise giving his opponents a merry dance as Casey grabbed a three goal lead in the blink of an eye. Fullarton has now kicked ten goals in Casey’s three matches and, with Melbourne’s forward conversion woes, he is definitely in with a chance to get his first game with the club in next week’s Gather Round in Adelaide. Despite the tall forward’s efforts - he finished with 19 disposals and eight marks and had four hit outs as back up to Will Verrall in the second half - it wasn’t enough as Geelong reigned in the lead through persistent attacks and eventually clawed their way to the lead early in the last and held it till they achieved the end aim of victory.

  • REPORT: Geelong

I was disappointed to hear Goody say at his post match presser after the team’s 39 point defeat against Geelong that "we're getting high quality entry, just poor execution" because Melbourne’s problems extend far beyond that after its 0 - 4 start to the 2025 football season. There are clearly problems with poor execution, some of which were evident well before the current season and were in play when the Demons met the Cats in early May last year and beat them in a near top-of-the-table clash that saw both sides sitting comfortably in the top four after round eight. Since that game, the Demons’ performances have been positively Third World with only five wins in 19 games with a no longer majestic midfield and a dysfunctional forward line that has become too easy for opposing coaches to counter. This is an area of their game that is currently being played out as if they were all completely panic-stricken.

  • PREGAME: Essendon

Facing the very real and daunting prospect of starting the season with five straight losses, the Demons head to South Australia for the annual Gather Round, where they’ll take on the Bombers in search of their first win of the year. Who comes in, and who comes out?

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?
