For those Frost watchers...

Watching Frost for the Hawks this year, I disagree, he has consistently been good for the Hawks this year, was good against us and I reckon Clarkson would be happy with the trade, he also hits others quite hard, doing more than Frawley on probably a third of the money.

Opposition scouting watch based on 1st half:

-Taylor Adams is their playmaker, you cannot afford him to give him space as he sets up the majority of Collingwood scores and is generally a neat pick, would recommend a tag

-Grundy looks tired and not impacting much apart from winning the hitouts, Gawn could outrun him off his feet

-Darcy Cameron is their only big target, block his space

-The collingwood forwards thrive on space, do not allow them any space- in a crowded forward line they are rubbish

-Collingwood love to use the corridor, make them go down the line and block the corridor

-Maynard sets up alot off HBF. Don't leave him on his own.

He was good against us, but his deficiency still exists and always will. There are games his “Frost Ball” will look amazing and create something, then 5min later it will cost goals.

It’s why I wasn’t gutted about him leaving (though still a little disappointed).

What I’ve seen of this riveting match is that Adelaide have actually had equal amounts of opportunities but the pies have just been cleaner with taking their chances.

Yes it does, I still think he has tidied up a bit with Clarskon's coaching.

But your thoughts please, the game is so micro managed now, that anyone choosing to take the game on and making a boo boo, is super exposed with the media making a meal of it, I actually think it takes a fair bit of courage to not be a conservative down the line defender,  it is one of the things I like about our footy and dislike the way the game becomes all about the percentages.

Useless [censored] they are

Nah we want them to win.  Last thing we need is for the Pies to give the Crows their first win.  They then get smashed in the media and are fired up for their game against us.

Better for them to win, be relieved and be exhausted before facing us.

We wont go into the 8 now if we beat the Pies.

Them winning tonight doesn't help us at all.

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the
