Cant wait to hear more stories about the 58 premiership in the next qtr

I’m interested in Crocker’s tattoos and Seedsman being unlucky to be moved on.

That was a disgrace. Melksham had a shot and we just gave it back. Umps are trying to stamp that rubbish out. No need for vandenberg to do it.

Ugh the crows are going in hard because they know we are a mentality soft team.

Viney is just going in hard as a bull.

Come on dees, don't get sucked in.

Oh and a message to the commentators. Commentate the game. Gee with ed, Dwyane, Derm & kingy all they seem to have done is talk about old stories.

If that is a free kick,  Fritsch should have been lining up for goal instead of giving away a 50 against Brisbane.

Also, I love Derm trying to talk about respect for players... coming from someone who ran through huddles and belted blokes.

Poll: would anyone actually care if Vandenberg was benched the rest of the game?

I'm sick of dumb people in this world

Haven’t the [censored] commentary team been given the league memo.

That goose Brereton talking about respecting there opponent... the rubbish he did!!!

How do we infiltrate the media to get someone on our side?

Umps have let Adelaide get away with this niggle all game. Just as they've let Max be tackled in the ruck and Taylor Walker has been allowed to shephard in the marking contest multiple times. Two free kicks for us that quarter is [censored] [censored]

Lever got hit about three times when on the mark at the other end in front of the crows goals.

Nothing happened.

Did you just hear Breretons comments about how he never used to do cheap shots like that. Fmd

After seeing the replay, stupidity from Vandanberg and fair enough from the ump.

Really?  If he was standing up and pushed him off his feet, fair enough.  But that was nothing.  I don't care if they want to stamp it out.  It's a soft, soft reversal.

AVB shouldn't put himself in that position, but still.  Soft.  I fear for the game if this is where it is heading.

Just incredible!!!! They literally have talk points supplied by the head office and going hard on the Dees.

  • NON-MFC: 2026 Opening Round

Finally the 2026 AFL Premiership Season is upon us. While Melbourne sits out Opening Round, there is still plenty of footy to enjoy with five non-MFC clashes to kick off the new season. It all begins on Thursday night with a blockbuster at the SCG as Sydney hosts Carlton in what should be a strong early test for both sides. On Friday night, Gold Coast gets its chance to open the season in front of a home crowd when the Suns and Christian Petracca take on Geelong at People First Stadium. Saturday features a double-header, starting in the afternoon with Greater Western Sydney and Clayton Oliver meeting the Hawks at Engie Stadium. That is followed on Saturday night by Brisbane Lions hosting the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba, with the Lions embarking on their campaign to win the Threepeat. Opening Round wraps up on Sunday night at the MCG, where St Kilda takes on Collingwood in the only game in town in the first week of the season. There is no shortage of storylines across the round, so discuss all the action from the non-MFC games of Opening Round.

  • PREGAME: St. Kilda

With just over two weeks until their opening match of the 2026 AFL Premiership season, the Demons are already well on the path to redemption and have the Saints firmly in their sights ahead of their mid-March clash at the MCG. What do you think the team will look like when they run out on to the G?

  • REPORT: Richmond

Mars is not usually a place known for lighting strikes but on Friday evening it happened twice in the vicinity of the stadium in Ballarat that carries the name and is a half completed building site with limited capacity for spectators.

It's Game Day and the 2026 AFL Premiership season is almost upon us as the Demons take to the field for their final practice match before the first ball is kicked in anger in 16 days time. What are you expecting to see from the Dees today as they take on the Tigers at Mars Stadium in Ballarat?
