Our blokes just do not stay with their opponent when we don't have the ball. Application not fitness.

That's the game plan.

I'm sure that comment will go viral

I have an infectious personality.

Time to implement another mid-season coaching re-structure.

Out: Goody              In: Someone who has had a lobotomy (they'd at least have half a brain)

Out: Stafford           In: Neita

That was biggest [censored] weak of a chase by Oliver

Coast to coast. As easy as you’d like.

Goodwin [censored] loves coaching without a forwardline

As soon as Oscar McDonald dropped a gentle hand pass from two metres away I knew we were cooked.

Still no forward line structure and the most basic of skill errors.

Feel sorry for Viney. Busting his [censored] and then they just let West Coast waltz down the other end under no pressure.

Anyone who know how to structure a forward line

I blame the feral crowd, influencing umpire decisions etc.

Oliver just walked after an opponent then.

Is Viney the only one that didn't go out on the pi$$ last night?

Goodwin is lucky that no coaches can be sacked because there is no money to pay out contracts. There is no discernible system or game plan and skill development is obviously not a priority.

Goody may be the only person who's job is saved by the virus

How the F are we turning in another [censored] rd 1 performance half the player don't look ready to many fumbles an second guessing

Club still falls apart when put under pressure, no matter how hard they train

To hell and back and back... Again

The MFC story.

He can get that spoon he loves so much and ram it right up his backside, dd. Someone tell him to start giving a [censored].

WTF was that by Oliver, he jogged up to the opposition as they left our forward line, still jogging went a couple of metres away.. pathetic   Hope they play that time him again and again

Tom McDonald has been woeful

Ha!

Oliver that was a disgusting effort. I hope Goodwin drags him to the side for that.

Again we dominate territory for no reward.

Not much different to 2018 last game,   don"t review it we know what went wrong !

Absolutely ****house!! Seems like the lads don't want to be there.

Not to be that guy, but way too many folks here fell for a good edit and some thoughtful music.
We’re a long way from being ‘back from hell‘.

The 2 way running is pathetic.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
