I just said I would prefer 2 of Tim Kelly, Liam Ryan, Petrucelli or Stocker instead of Lever. Not sure where you got that I was rating him. Those r the players we missed out on by taking Lever.

I understand your opinion, here's mine:

Kelly- going home

Ryan- massive flight risk

Petrucelle- bog average skills

Stocker- hardly played, dury out

Milkshake a ghost out there. Put him in the middle for a touch ffs

Hibbo the easiest turnover you’ll see. Honestly we are painful

That was pitiful.

Pies have scored from our pathetic 9 turnovers. Maybe Goodwin can answer why we have such poorly skilled playing group? What’s our so called great development that Mcartny says we have .. it’s laughable

We should actually trade Jack Viney. I have no idea what he offers us.

Only listening to radio.  Cant watch anymore with the likes of JKH, Oscar & Gus destroying things.

Sounds like we are back to being turnover kings and a shambles and are only capable of staying in or ahead in a match for one quarter or so at best.

If Goodwin cant get us close to a half baked Pies team with almost no forward line with 19 rounds behind the team he should walk now and save us the embarrassment for the last few rounds and for the [censored] storm that will be next season.

Clean half this shitty list out, put anyone in who has half a coaching brain in (Ratten?) and start again in 2020.

Goody is destroying this club and the careers of at least half a dozen or so very good players with every week that goes by.

Roos anointed the wrong man in a rush out the door.  What a pitty.

And our forward line is brimming with talent atm is it?

Lewis telling Viney a few home truths.

Good! Viney is a [censored] footballer. Plays only one way and that's rugby union style trying to run thro ugh everyone.

0 tackles for Jones in the last 2 matches. Not going to win when our captain is producing [censored] like that. Completely in self preservation mode.

0 pressure whatsoever, whoever is on Jones knows he isn’t at risk of being caught.

We might be the turnover kings...

... But at least we're KINGS!

(Sorry, I don't have much else positive to say after that quarter).

Hahahaha Hibberd

Watched Hunt run and create an option for Hibberd only to be burnt again for a stupid little inside trick move. Horrible.

Skill errors are just crippling our good intentions.

They really are very bad.

Oliver no better either

Yep chaos ball. Goodwin’s brilliant game plan which hasn’t worked for a year and relies on winning every clearance and skills we do not possess such as kicking, handballing and foot speed.

Bizarrely seems like

left of screen is the goal kicking end. We should of had 5 goals first Q. Would still be a tight game

can’t kick for [censored]

He needs to be dumped from Captaincy as a last ditch effort to wake him up and become a footballer again.

Agree, try get a late first rounder from Port if we lucky.

Regardless of anything else, bottom handful are under where they need to be. Melksham (OK, coming back from injury), but Dunkley, Baker, JKH not giving enough and/or turning the ball over.

How to beat the Dees in 2019?

1. Put pressure on the Dees

2. Dees turn it over

3. You kick a goal

Simples.

Hibberd inability to hit a Target is mind boggling.

Its like ground hog day every week .

Big effort in the first , then skills constantly let us down and it’s chasing backsides all day after that.

Vney needs to watch someone like Trent Cotchin on how to play the game and lead his team.

Our complete inability to change game plans and respond to a team changing tactics on show here.

A few players have been very average,  but no attempt to change things up. Move trac into the middle for [censored] sake.

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
