    What the hell's with the ridiculously loose zone on that kick in.  Too shallow and too much space....cost us a cheap goal!!!

    Godamn I hate Kennedy.

    And I hate handing the ball over for dumb goals when we're controlling general play.

    His kicking has improved out of site, i criticized him early for loopy kicks which were getting cut off, while still not darts and can shank one, picking better options and no where near as much height.

    This is NOT over. We need this win so so badly. As good as we've played at times tonight, it will all turn to ashes in my mouth if we can't finish it off. Led at every change. Finish it boys.

    We should be at least 5 goals up, so we're going to have to do this the hard way. A quick goal at the start of Q4 is necessary. Send the message that we won't be giving up this game.

     

    Our goal kicking is atrocious and it will cost us this game and by extension finals.

    • 2026 AFL Fixture

      The Demons 2026 AFL Fixture is as good as can be expected considering their performances and finishes the past two seasons. Sunday games and late afternoon starts are on the menu with only 1 Friday night fixture until Round 15. They will travel 8 times including their home game in the Alice, their Gather Round game as well as a match against the Hawks in Tasmania. They will face, the Bombers, Bulldogs, the Suns, the Tigers, the Hawks and the Dockers twice.

      Melbourne returned to its city citadel, IKON Park, boasting a 10–2 home record and celebrating its 100th AFLW matchwith 3,711 fans creating a finals atmosphere. But in a repeat of Round 11, Brisbane proved too strong, too fit, and too relentless.  They brought their kicking boots: 9 goals, 2 points.
