Weiderman deliberately running under it to avoid contact is my new rage trigger. Harden up

There is nothing complicated about Preuss’s game.

See ball, mark ball, kick ball, kick goal.

The Spruce Preuss!

Gold. :)

Dominating but losing.

Again.

Jeffy (if match fit) for Corey was a no brainer sitting under Pruess and providing some goal awareness/finish and more pressure on the Opp inside our 50

Even the commentators are getting on the umpires for ignoring frees to Melbourne and paying them to The Saints immediately after. Viney in particular is being held at every stoppage.

Jesus has resurrected a day early, his name is Preuss!

Wow the rest of the forwardline having a stinker. Spargo 0 stats, TMac and Weid nowhere to be seen, Melk with a horrid set shot

Wow 16 free kicks handed out that quarter. Umps wanting more and more relevance these days.

saw that very sad his uncle would have marked it and  taken 3 of them out

McDonald back to defence. Cant get a kick up forward.

oh no thats it

Backline set up is a shambles, no one at the fall of the ball up forward but somehow we are still in it. Umpiring is diabolical by the way!

I’m at the game and can not believe how slow Sam Weiderman is. Don’t think I have sighted Tom Mac. I think the umpiring has been pathetic. I haven’t understood most of the decisions.

Hore looking the goods again so far.

Why is he running his opponent from the Arc back into a leading corridor ??.. Lead him away FGS

Melk was still good enough to mark it

Troy Chaplin’s defence working like a charm.

I think the umpires don't either

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
