Did dim Tyson get dropped from the seniors?

Yes.

But old mate @olisik reckons we made a mistake trading him...?

I will go down and keep an eye on Garlett, Petty, Kielty and Baker.

You'll also notice that our old mate has also been absent after our first victory of the season.

He only shows up after a loss. How sad is that?

Any chance Lockhart as a late inclusion?

Don't think he can play for casey if named in our 22.

Playing the man again.  And it's an opinion forum.

And how on earth is your comment related to the Casey game tomorrow?

Give it a break, you're better than that.

So it's the Wale in the ruck.... good luck young man

I see North's ruck, Mirran is a VFL listed player as well. Did North have a relief ruck other than Majak Daws at AFL level?

Be interested in knowing from the Casey regulars if Lockhart has had back problems before.

You follow me round like a bad smell, Bob. You ignored the copious other posts this weekend where I did discuss the game, then?

Unless you want to engage in some footy discussion, grow up and move on, because I won't waste my time on you again. Life is too short for people like you. Cheers.

Not as much as he has just been demoted and I think needs a few weeks at Casey.

Thanks DL understand fully but wonder if ANB can alter  his game and adapt to a more physical and skilled (without the fumbling) style to win back his spot.Thats his challenge to play tougher football.

Agree he needs a good stint at Casey yo turn things around from a poor start to 2019.

look forward to your post about the young guys and Jeffy  All Have big chances with the Saints  and Tigers games so close.

Dec seemed to get a ball in the eye at a centre bounce,  last week...  which seemed to trouble him for some time.

Meanwhile, by all reports, Austin Bradtke is motoring along satisfactorily, playing in the ruck for the Dandenong Stingrays.

Nothing spectacular but he's getting hitouts and possessions and last week kicked a goal in the team's drawn game against the Geelong Falcons.

He’s playing under 18’s? Should be smashing them as training with an AFL side would be very beneficial.

Bradtke has played no football for about four years after making a decision at 14 years of age to concentrate on basketball.

Apart from a couple of practice matches with Casey, he has played only two games of AFL any level for premiership points and they were over the last fortnight with the Stingrays. He’s learning the craft in an area where players don’t reach their peak until the mid 20s. The strategy of playing him in the NAB Bank Under 18s is sound but don’t expect him to be smashing them quite yet.

Agree, it will take some time for him.

I watched the last qtr of last weeks game against Geelong where he played majority of that qtr in the ruck. I'd be curious to know if they will also use him up forward as he apparently impressed in some of the Casey practice games he played this year.

So, would that be an "eyeball"??

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
