Can we now close this thread? Castigation and innuendo serve little purpose and Jesse, the FD/MFC and our success may still warrant our respect?

Maybe we can all say our final goodbyes before the thread is closed for good?

Bumped into the big fella today, still looked unhappy. Maybe it wasn’t us after all.

ET you must get that a lot. Good to see you haven't taken it too personally. :)

I would like to suggest that those asking for a thread to be closed be banned for 1 month. If the thread is going after the month ban them for life.

There are too many killjoys in life, don't come here if you don't like it. It is not compulsory.

Ha(r)mes' Hangers?

They got rid of the high mark on that bag over Robbo - I think when one guy landed on his head.

Now they have the "high ball" from the machine.  Could still be Haymes Harmes High-ball

I was at that game and he was completely knocked out. Looked pretty serious actually. He and the club were lucky it was not more serious.

File under 'what were they thinking'and/or 'what could go wrong???'

I've long-wondered what the insurance policy is like for the game-break entertainment.

When that guy fell on his head and not much was said, the following week it was called something else, it was conspicuous to say the least.

Even the hamstring puller (he has to be a Demonlander, right?), did he charge someone for his injury? Or did he sign a release prior to running?

Maybe I'm too used to dealing with finances in my business. :P

It was more of an inference based on my observations.

ET I used the same gag about bumming a dart off of him, so deleted it.

On behalf of Carly Simon, ET, i thought you would be saying that Jessie's back in town........

For the next couple of years it is inevitable that here will be a Hogan thread either here or on the main board (which is where it will pop up as the season gets underway).    No point in closing this till then.

Dare I say it will be similar to having a continuous WATTS thread!!!

The Dockers released an ‘Jesse Hogan membership cards’ email to supporters today, perhaps time to close this thread.

At the end of the day he was paid 900k this year and he stated that the fact that he had a Freo offer for next year was weighing on his mind. That's not cool whichever way you look at it. Our highest paid player did not have his sole focus on MFC. I know he is a gun, and he will be a superstar. 900K should be enough to buy loyalty and undivided focus.

And for anyone who shoots off the "go home factor". I am pretty sure Jesse said his Dad wanted him to stay at Melbourne. Well that's what he said before signing last time. All things considered I think he is a bit of a [censored] and a disloyal one at that.

So while we trying our best to win our first flag in a generation with a realistic attempt Jesse has eyes elsewhere.

On a selfish level, im curious to see how many pages we can get up to over the course of his career.

My daughter saw Hogan today in South Yarra.

Missing friends in Melbourne. Freo have said he is able to be in Melbourne midweek on compassionate grounds. Had a coffee & a dart with Goodwin, discussed coming home to Melbourne if a deal could be worked out
