A friend of mine lived in Perth. His phone number was 7.

Who owns the pub there now?

Is it true there is no bank in Perth? Because every time someone gets some money they leave?

There's no town idiot in Perth. Apparently everyone gets to take turns..

I;ll leave now....

Smokeys guide to Perth:

- Do not go to Perth, unless;

- Demons are playing a prelim, in which case go straight from the airport and leave immediately after the game. Failure to do so may result in meth addiction.

I rate the Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle, wish we had a similar place in Adelaide.

For those that are heading over I suggest have a pint or two there.

And don't forget to head to Hungry Jacks for the Weagles Meal. No burger, no fries - just coke and ice.

Lived in Perth for 2 years.

Great beaches, no peak-hour traffic, excellent roads, worst flies in Australia, the wind never stops, and the average person is more red-necked than a logger from Tasmania. Seriously, Perth made Queenslanders look like they were educated at Melbourne Grammar. And that is a VERY troubling thought.

Wow. Lucky I am a born and bred Melburnian and a city boy to boot.

I hear the sun rises over the land and sets over the sea. Seriously messed up.

Remember to keep walking and keep your eyes fixed firmly in the middle distance in front of you.

If someone tries to sell you some iron ore, just politely say no. The highs aren't worth the lows, m'friends.

I love WA my oldest brother  has worked over there for over 25 years.  Had some great times staying in Cottesloe and Scarborough and burswood over the years.  And I highly recommend  the beaches it's a shame most the people have a massive Victorian inferiority complex though.

You needed to get out more.

I escaped from Perth as a 2 .5 year old and I’ve only been back 4 times in the last 60 plus years, twice for football and twice for business.  Each time I thank God my father had the sense to raise me here and not there.

They seriously hate us over there.
