Was thinking that might be the case....   if so...   wow.

Creative Minds stated the ‘power stance’ was Walkers idea.

Does anyone know the reason why they are standing like that?

That cant be a coincidence.  So weird.

Supposed to exude power...and psych out opposition. You could have Sooooo much fun I reckon ;)

Lever made the right decision.  Nobody wants to play there or be there.   Suck [censored] Tex Walker.

The players got the result they wanted? You might be happy with that but it spelled 'issues' for me. What are the leaders of the club there for if not to deal with this sort of thing?

It's like Gysberts refusing to run a 3km time trial because its too hot....

There u go again  MR MFCSS, it is nothing like gysberts refusing to run  a 3 km trial, if it where we would have not won 14 games, and by the way in the Reverend days the team never won more then 14 games in the H&A season. there have not been any  other reports of players refusing to do training, so all your arguments are like pissing in the wind.

Good on McGovern leaving, their football administration is a joke specifically Justin Reid. Hope Carlton don’t give them the house.

Adelaide's version of the Haka. Its just that Tex ain't too good with words...

Tex: come on boys. Let's scare the hell out of them other teams with our own ....... what's that thing the Kiwis do?

Players: the haka?

Tex: is that what it's called? So yeah, let's do our own Adelaide hokey thingy.

Players: haka

Tex: that's what I said! First stand like this.

Players: got it. Then what?

Tex: I dunno. Ummmmmmmmmm .....

(they stand there for three minutes while Tex wracks his brains for a second move)

Tex: Ummm ... and that's it! Gotta be worth 3 goals a game!

Players: (*thinks*) Our leader.  Sh*t. I wonder if Carlton/Gold Coast/St Kilda need a half forward/back pocket/on baller/etc

You want answers Tex? Your are a fkwit, the club is shlt the administration is frked and the coach is a real dlk head, oh and I do like a good coffee & croissant on my way to training not a fekkin pie floater

We don’t do camp, cop crap in the media and make finals.

Crows do camp, get better run in media initially but now copping it, miss finals.

Now let me think, go to camp or don’t.

PS. Tex to Lever, “you are taking the money and missing finals”. No Tex, getting both, other than injury which caused inability to play in finals. Bonus for Lever gets to play at a stable club in his home state other than one interstate that is disintegrating from within.

Culture is a real thing: it seems Adelaide’s culture is extraordinarily poor. But it’s been sustained over a number of years, how many of their guns have left since Vince?

You must work for them, this collective minds are a joke nothing good came from them, they are what they call quacks, frauds pretending to be psychologist when none of them are  qualified.

Just like your average gp?

Wasnt Tex rubbed out 2-3 times this year, all in quick succession too? Absolute [censored] of a bloke IMO and a few roo short of the top paddock.

Making Sloane captain would help Adelaide get things back on track. But hopefully Tex stays!

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
