Jaded, my daughter got 4 tickets this morning using multiple devices but said the phone was the best and only device that worked. Good luck!   This is an absolute joke what they are putting all the supporters through.

I love it how we're told by all these companies that the quickest way to do things is online and that the phone will take longer etc only to find it was the best option:s

Quick question - does the MFC take the gate revenue as it's our home Final? Or is it split with Geelong?

Asked that the other day but haven’t had a response, interested to know as well.

the (not) funniest part about this fiasco is the crowd is only predicted to get to 80k - so why is it so hard to get a ticket to a 100k seat stadium?

The empty seats will be in the AFL Members stands.

It makes a compelling case to be able to on-sell them thru an authorised outlet (not the somewhat dodgy 3rd party re-sellers around atm.)

Because the pea minded [censored] tried to sell tickets to all the games at the same time.

Yep, all guest passes have been exhausted

Hi all.. Anyone know of a pub to watch the game where Demonlanders frequent? Not sure I’ll get a ticket.

No - both games go on-sale at 9AM on Thu for AFL Members.

You will get a ticket if you want one  will not be sell out.   plenty of general public seats will go on sale later in week.

If you're an AFL member you should be ok.

Gee, lucky they've got an extra week to sell tickets.

Would have been absolute mayhem if this wasn't a bye week.

Went insanely quickly (I couldn’t get one within first 15 mins via [censored] up online channel!!)

Starting to worry the ticket I managed to buy this morning may fail at the gate due this whole debacle ?

Surely if it's in my hot hands it's still valid... Anything is possible with these Ticketek clowns...

Wish you all the best.

I'm dirty on the MFC in allowing members to purchase 2 tickets per one membership. That isn't/wasn't the case for Cats members. I've been a MFC member for more than 50 years, and a premium member (guaranteed GF ticket for 20 years) but I fear I could miss out tomorrow. I waited 5 hours online today. I wish I'd thought to log onto my phone simultaneously. I assumed Ticketek site would forbid that, as it should.

I'll let the club know, in no uncertain terms, how I feel about their 'ticket policy' if I miss out. All I bloody well want is standing room as per 1988 and 2000 (when I was forced to buy a seat I didn't use).

You’d think the could get it through their pea brains that holding these sessions at the same time was a bad idea.

Login to your Ticketek account and go to 'order history'. Scroll down and you can print out your tickets from pdf, regardless of how you requested them. I requested mine by mobile ticket, but chose to print them off as a back up to mobile qr.

It is the same for Cats members to. They get 2 tickets per membership

Not according to posts on the HUN site today.

Not according to posts on the HUN site today but just checking on the Cats site, you're right. I'm even more disillusioned now. 110,000 members in total each able to purchase 2 tickets when there's <60k available (my estimate).

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
