He's a vital cog now, he's in career best form.

Im sure many make their rating of ANB the same way they rate most others... their highlight reel

This kid will never have the flashy fend-offs, the huge pack marks, the big spoils etc etc... He just isnt that type of player.

What he does do better than most is run to contests, run to make space, run to fill space, run to block, run to present, run run run.

Every team needs players of this type, and i reckon we are very lucky to have him. Reminds me a lot of Cotchin in that regard... Not a huge highlight reel, but heaps and heaps of repeat efforts that others dont or cant provide.

Get around him.

I love Bernie but he looked terrible last week, I'd like Fritsch to play back and Kent (or maybe Hannan) for Bernie.

Would love to see Kent back in the side....   I wonder though if we can play all three of Kent, Garlett and Spargo.

I think not letting Sydney play a loose man in defence will go a long way to winning this game. That’s most likely a Aliir Aliir or a McVeigh! McVeigh is there kicker out of half back and needs be manned up like a rash when Sydney have the ball in there hands.

Pederson can come in and chop out Max in the ruck but also allow either of Hogan and T Mac to push up the ground. Meaning Aliir Aliir is most likely going to have to man him up. If Pedo leads up it allows us to get over the back and expose the Swannies with Our smaller types.

If Aliir Aliir is going to play loose he needs to be manned up!

Yep, we need to make Aliir accountable as much as possible. I do think Pedo could be handy in this regard. Maybe start him up forward and then shift down back if need be.

Surely  Aliir goes to T Mac or Hogan.  Grundy is out

They have a very small backline, I wonder if we'll see Peds play forward, at least initially to try and stretch them or disrupt their game plan, then drop back if needed? Hogan or TMac could then try and run Alex Johnston around a lot, he played well last week but has been out for a long time.

Pedo in for his versatility and 'insurance' value.  I like that!

Hunt in for his pace.  I like that too!

Not bad Pedo for smith , hunt for Vince is an upgrade on both based on last week although smith was quite good

No idea where Pedders fits in to be honest.

Unless they think he can play the Joel Smith/Lever role.

Pedo in... that’s weird unless we are playing tmac back. Doesn’t make sense to me. Look too tall again.

If T Mac continues to kick like last week, he'll probably be of more use down back.

Pedo's been starring in defence so I expect him play some heavy minutes down there and then chop Max out.

Pedo has been playing back at Casey, so I assume he will playing the third tall role down back and ruck relief.

I think that's what they have been trialling him back at Casey for . Gives us good flexibility to ruck swap with tmac of we get desperate

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
