As much as I love Tommy Bugg’s intensity, his fast time trials and his “redemption”from last year’s brain fade, he simply cannot hit a target!

The Granny is the first look I've had because life, but I don't mind it (and not just because Melbourne are in it). Don't know what all the sooking has been about, people are just afraid of things that are a little bit different.

Its a billion times better when  your own team is playing.

I like it. It’s all attacking, high scoring, positive footy. Won’t ever replace the real thing but a good side show

“Free kick Hawthorn “ still alive and well.

Amazing. I almost feel like I've accomplished something with my pathetic life just by watching…

We [censored] did it!!!!

Woooooooooo

Somehow this evens things out for our loss in the 1988 Grand Final, and I'll go out on a limb and say tonight's game is more important.

I might have knocked the concept last night but, let's be honest, it's the best thing the AFL have come up with in decades.

Clearly hardest form of the game and worthy premiers. (ok, so still don't like it but glad we won.)

Go Melky. Definitely won the Htims Mron Medal tonight.

That servo countertop display isn’t really the trophy, is it?

Anyway, we are the best team in the country right now.

It’s been a season of grit, growth, and glimpses of brilliance—mixed with a few tough interstate lessons. Now, with finals looming, the Dees head to Kardinia Park for one last tune-up before the real stuff begins.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
