Menzel is a small forward who found himself behind some good small forward at the crows. He showed at the blues that he’s got talent so I wouldn’t be surprised if a team gives him a lifeline

Really surprised he hasn’t developed into a better player- thought he showed a lot of promise early and anticipated him developing into an outside wing/half-forward role.

If my source is correct, Jesse went to Perth before Bali, he then flew from Bali to WA to meet with Fyfe, came back to Melb shortly after attended races over the weekend and is flying back to Perth this week to meet Lyon. Grain of salt as I dont know the guy personally but seems he was spot on. This is why I think using Watts is a cop out. May all be BS at EOD

Nah bull dust, talking sh@$t, he might of meet with nat but highly unlikely he had a meeting with ross, lets flip the rumour around, fyfe meets hogan must mean fyfe wants to come to the dees, anyway season is over the time for lying Is , all players seeking trades are making their wish known. So

There is a tweet that Hogan met Fyfe on Tuesday and there is no detail in the tweet or article about the content of their discussion, length of ‘meeting’ or even the location.

The article states that Hogan is happy at Melbourne and has not given any indication that he wants to leave, it also states that he wants to play out his career at Melbourne.

The article states his manager has said he’s staying and Mahoney has said he’s not up for trade.

How is this a ‘huge development’???

Why are we even talking about this???

It' click bait, never let the truth get in the way of a good story

Crameri may be on his way back to the Bombers according to SEN, T Menzel was a talented junior, questions remain over his application, desire and attitude, apparently

He came back from 4 knee recos, would astound me if that didn't show application, desire and attitude.

There appears to be some confusion in relation to Troy and Daniel Menzel.

Daniel is a RFA (Geelong) and Troy was delisted from Adelaide yesterday. I thought Troy looked promising in his first season at Carlton.

If you don't meet the required levels of performance and output, I'd hope not.

I had a dream last night he does. I remember the AFL website said "Shock" in relation to Hogan seeking a trade to Freo. I woke up from my slumber earlier today and went straight to the AFL website because I was praying it was just a dream.Thankfully it was. All this reading about Hogan and Fremantle is now causing me to dream about it. Trade week is already messing with me and it hasn't even started yet.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
