If we cant beat this weak, under strength  filth team missing at least 8 of their best 22 with a full strength team minus Viney, , we don't deserve to play finals.

They have got the home ground advantage though! ?

We've picked close to our best team, everything to play for this weekend, and have improved significantly in a year we've had lots of injuries to key players & suspensions.

We are due to play well, and should put the Pies to the sword. Plus Eddie not firing Bucks this week, actually helps us, as occasionally you see teams put in a big effort farewelling the coach.

Still nervous, can't help it after following Dees for fifty years, but hoping for an enjoyable and relaxing last quarter tomorrow, looking forward to finals footy.

James Munro gave Kirby a bath in the last VFL match we played them. Munro stuck to him like glue, Kirby lost the plot,  gave away numerous free kicks and had no impact on the game. Nev will make minced meat of Kirby

Balls, you're spot on with respect to Dunn - the comment was made by Taylor Adams just before QB game, not by Lynden. I share your views on his leaving the club, and always look forward to watching him unload a torp from full back.

Also agree with your views on Howey - he left for a life kicking goals in a successful club and finds himself where he was with us four years ago. Stuck in the backline of a not-good-enough club. He can suck a bag of dicks.

Your last line had me pissing myself laughing in the fish and chip shop where I'm picking up my Friday lunch. People are looking at me funny ????

Wow, he really does have a grudge against the MFC. Has he picked us once this season?

I hope someone calls him out on social media.

@Petraccattack

@Deemented Are Go!

Gents, I did look up some of the earlier rounds this year and there was an instance where he tipped us.  But only one and certainly not any time in the second half of the season!   So he definitely has an issue!!  Collectively, the Dogs have lots of issues I guess!

For all those in attendance tomorrow, please remember at the appropriate point in the game (assuming things go to plan!!) to:

- ask Taylor Adams if this is what a successful club's footy looks like

- ask Dunny and Howie if it's enjoyable playing for a successful club

- ask if it's time for "Press Red for Ed"

- ask those in the black and white around you if they're enjoying THEIR grand final.

You'll hear me on lvl 1 of the MCC!

Kirby in for Reid. Leads the VFL goal kicking, has a lot of hype around him in terms of x-factor. Small forward, was very overweight at the start of the year. Should be easily shut down by our nimble backline.

So we can expect him to kick five .

For those who dismissed the prospects of Adelaide not going as hard as possible against West Coast, they've seen fit to pull Walker and Talia out of the selected side.  Don't leave anything to chance Dees.....

Yep. They have written off winning perth. If it's close at 3/4 time they'll roll over in the last to avoid injury etc. Over to you Demons

All we need is a draw to be safe...I'd even take the 2 premiership points!

Didn't even think of that.

Worth a tenner now.

Wasn't it Adams who said Dunn was happy to be at a successful club. I don't think Dunn said it as such. Let Dunn do his thing. That'll involve a couple of long bombs, some spoiling and a couple of short passes to Melbourne players who will then have shots on goal.

When I was watching the Pies game last week Dunn took a good saving mark close to full back in the third quarter when the game was in the ballance... and then proceeded to kick it straight to Dangerfield ... who then let him off the hook and sprayed what was a fairly simple set shot.  Anyways, he has some good recient form in this area.  It could also be true (and let's hope it's not) that he could bob up at a critical time and bomb a clutch goal from outside 50 like he has for us a few times going back, he's just that sort of player.

If GWS lose tomorrow night, Adelaide have absolutely nothing to play for as they'll have top spot sown up.

If GWS win, it's in Adelaide's best interest to beat WCE as they'll reclaim top spot. Top spot guarantees you a Friday night prelim and hence 1 extra day's break for the big dance.

Wow, Crows resting two stars.

This is frightening - if we lose tomorrow and we are in real trouble. Every Demon supporter in the land will be tuning in Sunday to the Eagles Crows match in total fear.

Beat the Pies, for the love of god.

Yep, with or without the Crows playing selection games, having been saying this all week. Dees, just get the job done tomorrow!!

Not surprised the Crows have done that, at least they gave us due notice!

I'm super emotional about tomorrow.

Nervous. Excited. I think they call that anxious?

Thinking of the siren ringing and knowing we're going to September..it makes me emotional, almost to the point of tears.

I think we'll get it done. And comfortably.

2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best.
