On a brighter note, attached is a pic taken earlier tonight at TIO in Darwin. Carnival atmosphere here, but too many Crows.

I should probably clarify that.

We can find a way to win games. However, none of it will be coast to coast, champagne football.

We win what we can and get through games like this without too much damage done.

We might win this but seeing what I can on the scoreboard and from play on the ground, I can't see it happening.

We will be a much more daunting proposition with Jones, Viney, Tyson and Watts in there.

Oh agreed - there has been so much persistence in games this year - for something that we have seen in a decade and a half.. Adelaide are far to classy when they're on for us not to have 4-5 top players NOT in - to be disappointed that we are getting smashed - the common parlance is post a loss with all your players in - something along the lines of "we were 5% off"...well we're objectively 20% off - whilst its good exposure for smith, jkh and even trac in the midfield - seasons aren't won and lost on these games, and its great learning for some.

We'd be closer if we had said midfield...

I went to this game a couple of years ago.  In the 2nd half it gets very humid and greasy - will Adelaide's dominance be affected?

I think we need to take a big deeeeeep breath. Expectations were never high for this game, all I want see is everybody trying their heart out. But..... I want more from Hannan, JKH, Petracca, Oliver, Gawn and Pederson, and that will go along way to not letting this blow out.

Kent is not Mia. He kicked a goal and has done lots of good things.

Saw the goal but not much else. Have only seen the second quarter though

May as well be playing in Adelaide. This venue gives us no advantage whatsoever. Bad decision by the club to continue this experiment.

its unfamiliar for BOTH teams...

Remember max of old whete he could get 10 kicks and 9 marks and a goal or 2.

What's wrong with Gawn? Absolutely zero influence.

He's a confidence player big Maxy, and right now he ain't got none. Not sure Darwin is the place to find it either.

Rory sloane with 4 touches to half time matches the number of weeks Bernie will get for his two acts of stupidity.

So much for the calls by the club for pkayers to avoid needless, stupid reports

more easierly accomplished with a midfield for those players you mentioned  to pop - mind you, olivers smashed without another 3 mids - Gawn is the only surprise really, but 3?4? games in from a return... under done post injury.

Our ball handling has been rubbish in the first half so if it gets feature good help us.

For those people saying it ain't the ground yeah it ain't the ground but the players will be fu#$ed for next week adding another loss for the year you still reckon it's a great deal for the club please this is absolute 5hit

Port Adelaide will kill us.

Oh [censored] off. Hate this defeated  attitude

Not once have I turned the TV off this year.

But just seeing a string of nervous Melbourne players [censored] it up over and over again to allow a [censored] easy Adelaide goal made me yell "Nah!" and turn the blasted thing off.

Looking flat starting the third

no wonder we have nothing to kick to when Tom McDonald keeps getting sucked up into the midfield.

Our structures are non existent.

Has anyone looked at the dons run home. They are a serious chance of finals as are sydney. If we lose next week i really think it could be us making way. Us or saint kilda depending on if we beat the saints in 4 at the mcg next month. For a chance of cementing them today i didnt think we would be so beaten.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
