I can't believe we won that game! Missing key players to injury before and during the game, umpires against us, crowd feral, running out of legs.

Ive waited so long to see the red and blue show heart like that

I'm so happy I am in tears!

Guts personified , have to leave Macca at Full forward now.

Viney was immense, back to his absolute best, so courageous with that shoulder and all.

I'm so stoked, I'm going to go with the poem I wrote for the game this morning ...

I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Where all roads head to its west,
And a stadium called "Domain",
I love her far horizons,
I love her quirky weather,
Where the beauty of her western coast,
Is the home of Neville Jetta.

'Tis a bleak-hearted country,
A wilful, lavish land
If your team has rarely won there,
You will clearly understand
though Earth holds many splendours,
And days get darker and blacker,
All I ask the lord for tonight is winning smiles,
From Pedo, Buggy and Petracca.

A pity I couldn't find something to rhyme with Tom McDonald.

West coast wernt hobbled

How bl***y good was that?!?! Injuries from last week, injuries in the game, a huge crowd against us,  and one of the gutsiest wins in ghe last decade. Best win of the year for mine.

Jack Viney, I think I want to have your babies.

TMac - astonishing.

Pedo - you are a great late-game player.

They just keep getting better.

WE nailed a finals birth tonite.

Still feels surreal.

Haven't seen a better captain's game in my time following the Dees. There were eyebrows raised at the time, but that decision has been validated tonight. Big [censored] time.

And who said Tommy Mac couldn't play forward!! Kicks a bag of 5 including the match winner. Goodwin, take a bow!!!

He was originally drafted as a forward. Played early games in magoos there... Just didn't cement it in early days...lol

Wow 7 years of early UK morning starts to see 50 points thrashings on a regular basis, wiped out. That was the most fun I've had watching a game and there have been some crackers this year! Maybe it was because it was a bit later over here so the midday Fosters calmed me a little.

2024 Player Reviews: #7 Jack Viney

The tough on baller won his second Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Trophy in a narrow battle with skipper Max Gawn and Alex Neal-Bullen and battled on manfully in the face of a number of injury niggles. TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
