Can't wait to watch the replay.

Radio stations raving on Oscar.

Sounds like we had a serious spread of contributors, harder at the contest and faster on the spread, with a dominant backline and a creative forward line.

Why can't we win in Perth next week?

Best win of the year.  Most complete performance we have had in a long time and it was so good to watch.

We beat the Dogs up at their own game and made them look second rate.  We are physical, our pressure is unbelievable and we can beat ANYONE in the competition.

If you can find a negative out of that then you are looking in the wrong place.  Everyone played their role and everyone gave something positive.

And great psyche out from Tommy Bugg.  The boy knew what he was doing!

First 4th quarter effort this season.

Hibbo is a star.

3rd win in a row.

GO THE DEES.

I THINK WE MAY HAVE ARRIVED.

Also, we won all four quarters today.

That has us equal third of all clubs, behind only Adelaide and Port (both on 33), and equal with GWS (both on 30).

Well we just flogged the reigning premiers on their home deck

Three wins in a row

Top 4 a real possibility

Gawn and Hogan to come back in

Go Deez

The most consecutive goals we conceded this week was 2 goals.

Probably the first game all year we haven't given up 4+ goals in a row at any point, and that last 5 minutes of the second quarter was the only time it felt like they had momentum.

3 in a row!!...half a % point behind GWS....suddenly the next 4 matches all look winnable.

Woof woof......woof woof woof !!!!

Won every quarter

won three in  row

Good does of arrogance with Buggy

Great aggression all day.

Complete domination

Garlett hit the post three times so could have been a much bigger win,,,

I'm so happy. Love this club, loved their passion today. I'm lost for words. Go Dees.

Oscar McDonald the boy has now become a man.

23 touches, 12 marks and countless spoils, not to mention plenty of aggression at the contest.  Fantastic stuff.

Outstanding!!  (three goes to type that word, my hands are trembling so much).  Go demons, I live ya!!

Won't take this win too lightly. The dogs were bugged.

Jones quad

Watts hammy but precautionary but should be ok

Hunt shoulder but came back on. Prbably a stinger...

Etihad Stadium, our new fortress.

Not a fan of 'Coach of the Year' nominations at the halfway point, but seeing as the media are doing them, Goodwin should be in the discussions with Bolton, especially with most of the year sans Gawn.

Injury update?

Nothing official... but MMM said Jones was precautionary during 4th quarter. Likewise Watts who confirmed that in his post game. Hunt and Jetta both came back on and are fine.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
