Why has Goodwin and now Tyson said we're playing well and it's evenly poised? They look very dangerous off half back and given our insipid performance into the wind in the first quarter, I'm not sure there's much upside.

Goody and the whole team are deluded is why.  They are mentally the weakest club going around by a country mile and they are the only ones who apparantly can't see it.

wind has dropped to 20kms with occasional gusts up to 30..... it hit its peak 15 mins into the first quarter at 41 kph

Not sure what if anything it means but I thought I would mention it

Can we stop with this 2 or 3 players behind the ball [censored] now. Let our inside mids compete and bomb it in, they aren't skilful or quick enough to carry the ball through the middle.

See Tyson's half time comments as exhibit A

Players out there that are VFL level: OMac, Wagner, Bugg, Harmes, Neal-Bullen, Hannan

That's almost the entire forward line!!!

Hannah gets a pass done ok against two backs 10cm + bigger than him

Bloody Melbourne :(

This is the fourth game now where Goodwin's coaching and our leadership is on display. Big test.

This is like watching the old Dandenong Redlegs in the VFA

This Alice springs thing is ridiculous. Pre-season sure, but playing an interstate side away from the G as a home game is just amateur stuff. We are nomads and nomads without a connection to home. Are we Casey? Or Melbourne or Junction oval St kilda?

We play like a team without a soul. Because we're a club without a soul. Our soul and identity should be the MCG and only the MCG

You might have had a point, but you must not have noticed how well we've played at th G this year?

Whats your view on the game so far Saty?

Again see my last post, my lovely lady only been following the game for 10 years and tends to take the emotionless view, she thinks we have no intensity and deserve to be where we are   I agree

T-Mac must play defense.

O-Mac must play as a decoy FF.

He does a great job of playing a witches hat regardless of position 3Dee so that should suit him to a tee.  Just sit in a forward pocket and run around and look as if you mean business ?

What about the other guy who was promoted to join him? Saw his face on a milk carton at half time.

Why do i renew membership..

Must be a habit, but having nun of this.

McDonald x 2, Harmes, Wagner, Bugg, Frost, ANB. The serial offenders.

It's ok though, becuase we will replace them with the likes of Kennedy, Weideman, Kent, VDB, JKH, etc.

Our list is still pathetic with too many stragglers. A few good one's, but the rest are simply lazy.

This is a pretty damning state of affairs for Simon Goodwin's coaching methods if things stay the way they are!!!!!

Yep, Milkshake and Hibbo have gone okay. Funny that....

Plenty of signs, plenty of of handballing to his feet and trying to put him in hospital. He must think he's gone back in time 5 years.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
