Stunned to see Pedobear running and bouncing down the wing.

The last goal was brilliant.

Thats something Goodwin can take credit for. When he was fat he couldn't have done that ( twice) or even once.

That last goal was brilliant, he showed great athleticism and poise finishing it off. I wish we could've kept going after that.

He's been so important the last two weeks.

Have to say though, I still haven't warmed to the nickname 'Pedo' very much. At all.

Yeah never feels right saying it. Shame because it just rolls off

Huge lover of the Pedobear and what he brings (when he's switched on). Sticky dukes, big tackles and bumps and is a lovely field kick.

I remember reading a post or two about the above and always wondered if there was any truth in it.

I could never imagine him hanging out on Hollywood Blvd with the 'in' crew at all and he strikes me as the quiet type.

Not sure why people would dislike him, he's a bit of a battler, coming through the ranks the tough way and had to work at Bunnings part time to support his young family is pretty impressive. I have a massive soft spot for him and I would have throught all that isn't something that people could surely dislike?

I'm sure it was said on here by more than 1, that he was not liked among the playing group.

Did you ever see those posts? I always wondered why it would be the case.

Apparently that was the view at Nth Melbourne

All guts 'n glory

Shows the way to a few at Casey

Kinda glad that Neeld gave him that 'stupid' 'ridiculous' 'idiotic' 'absurd' three year deal...

Who needs Buddy when you've got Pedo..?!?

It just came to me..................................

THIS IS ONE TIME WE BEAT NORTH MELBOURNE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Garlett signs a new contract - plays shite the next week. Salem signs a new contact, plays shite the next week. ANB signs a new contract, yup. The list goes on and on. Pedo signs a new contract: B.O.G. baby. All big Pedobear ever needed was a good belly-scratch and a bit of a muzzle-rub and he'll do whatever you ask.

PEEEEEEDDDDOOOO!!!

love him. What a performance. Him and hogan is quite the combo.

Well done for perseverance.

I call him Pedders. The other one I cant bring myself to say.

But I am sure it has Demonland on multiple FBI watch lists.

All these posters praising Pedo now were the same ones doubting him when he put in a bad game or two and he got dropped. If Pedo himself ever read this board... just letting you know that I backed you all last year yet we opted for Watts whose game isnt 'big enough' to ever poll 3 votes in a game. Pedo may have done it twice in a row!

Why Pedo was ever dropped  and not in the team at the start of the season is simply a bad decision. A decision which cost us a couple of wins.

Playing as a Ruck Fwd in the last two weeks. Cam Pedersen has had..

50 Disposals

17 Contested

9 Tackles

15 Marks

13 Hit Outs

Kicked 5.3

In my opinion yesterday's game was better than last rounds.

24 Disposals & 3.2 and 9 Hit Outs!

How Nick Dal Santo had Beams in front of him in the Votes is a joke!

Whoever we play in the Elimination FInal, he is going to be a matchup nightmare for them and a possible wildcard for us.

The guy is looking like prime Adam Goodes out there.

But less of a [censored]! (And yes I never boo'd Goodes) I hated him for his cheap knees and elbows that never seemed to get reported against Melbourne!

He also is nearly about to make the Brock McLean trade salvagable as well. We nearly have gotten as much out of Pedders as Carlton did out of Brock.

Sadly, Jordie, in my eyes, became the footnote in both those deals. Brock did much more for Carlton than Jordie did for us. Likewise, Pedders is doing more for us as well when compared to Gysberts' career at North.

Pedders has already surpassed Brick for goals and will undoubtedly go on to play more games.

Judging by the posted pic you can see where his family's allegiances lay as opposed that Carlton turncoat !!

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.

  • CASEY: Northern Bullants

The Casey Demons travelled to a windy Cramer Street, Preston yesterday and blew the Northern Bullants off the ground for three quarters before shutting up shop in the final term, coasting to a much-needed 71-point victory after leading by almost 15 goals at one stage. It was a pleasing performance that revived the Demons’ prospects for the 2025 season but, at the same time, very little can be taken from the game because of the weak opposition. These days, the Bullants are little more than road kill. The once proud club, situated behind the Preston Market in a now culturally diverse area, is currently facing significant financial and on-field challenges, having failed to secure a win to date in 2025.

  • GAMEDAY: Sydney

It’s Game Day, and the Demons have a golden opportunity to build on last week’s stirring win by toppling Sydney at the MCG. A victory today would keep them firmly in the hunt for a finals spot and help them stay in touch with the pack chasing a place in the Top 8. Can the Dees make it two in a row and bring down the Swans?
