Not to mention the humility gland

Give him some slack he can see his team fall apart in front of his eyes, I see a great fall next year, betts is slowing down, they are going soft. He might have something to cry about next year when Sloane leaves as a free agent.

converted wife into a demon when she was 15 and i was 17...21 years and three junior dees later and all i want now is some fricken success - and i'm talking hawthorn-like twenty year dynasty not some willy nilly one-off fluke premiership - to justify my selection...

(and only really posting this to keep the lever run rate ahead of the watts' innings)

After a 54 year wait DA I will be happy with a fluke flag in 2018

how about we 'settle' (and don'tcha just love that notion) with a fluke flag, and then four in a row two or three years later?

Sorry you guys Tex is ok by me, and so is Lever obviously. I reckon Bernie would have thought so too, or else he wouldn't have invited him.

He spat the dummy, who gives a sh##, although they were doomed by the crowd the maggots the media and the ground. If the game had perhaps been played in Adelaide it mightn't have been the same.

What do people expect him to say and do." I thought we played well but were beaten on the day, pip pip".

The crows need to have a talk to tex because this is getting stupid.

The crows haven’t achieved anything yet and we are improving consistently every year and loaded with top end talent. If we don’t overtake the crows in 2018 we definitely will in 2019

jake will have just as much chance if a flag with us in the next three years as at the crows.

Tex has made himself look silly

my favourite bit was when he talked about all the players crows have brought in from other clubs who basically form the nucleus of their side:
- jenkins
- lynch
- betts (free agency acquisition, no less)
- jacobs

he forgot about seedsman, hampton, cheney and the retiring thompson too...

it really was a 'we want to have our cake and eat it too' moment

Shout out to the mod who added "Walker" after Tex to my post. I would hate that people thought I was talking about Tex Perkins.

On top of aggressively chasing a contracted Bryce Gibbs, Steven Motlop and others. Tex has a loose grasp of reality. Especially considering he’s on a mint himself

He is a SA they are half brains most of them, except Goodwin and any of them that support the MFC, he has made a mistake with watts he looked for a escape goat for not making finals, so why not do what most MFC people do and blame watts

We're getting closer. This years 1st rounder and next years 1st rounder for Lever plus pick 18 which Adelaide get for Cameron. Seems like swapping of other picks as well.

This will leave us without a 1st rounder next year, but picks 18 and 27 this year isn't too bad.

so pick 18 for next year's pick 18 means we get jake for just pick 10......and get to use pick 18 a year earlier.....i like it

That’s a very good deal if we can swing that.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

    TRAINING: Wednesday 15th January 2025

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
