So this is the Jesse Hogan who has played less than 50 games and spent a year out with a debilitating back injury right?

Saty, seriously mate, just give it a rest. There is nothing new to complain about in this thread.

I'm confident you are not winning friends within the playing group by your incessant cheerleading.

Gossage was on SEN earlier tonight after the derby talking about Hogan.

- Reaffirmed he thinks Hogan is no chance to come back and is going nowhere, said 'it was the same as 10 weeks ago, he is no chance'

Not saying Gossage is spot on or anything like that, I'll wait for official confirmation. Just passing on what was said on SEN

But also won a Risning star award and had the best first season of any key forward in the modern era to start his career, when you do that in a really bad side the expectations tend to jump a little.

This morning I read some of the previous 6 pages. I simply cannot understand some of the posters on here.  Some of you take yourselves and life way to seriously. Some of you clearly spend too much time on your computers and need to get out and enjoy your lives.

Over the years I have presented Demonland with numerous scoops. Roos after round 3 2014, Mitch Clark playing on but leaving Dees (I think I broke this to the press) etc. Each one has been met with skepticism by many.  I have given inside on some of the MFC trade targets, some have happened some have not. The sources have been various people in the club and player agents (I am close friends with 3).  Demonlander’s are free to believe what I write, believe it is BS or believe I simply play the odds or link the dots (sometimes I do link the dots and then look to confirm).  What you believe I don’t care, either believe it or dismiss it, but the social media movement of randoms heavily, aggressively criticising other randoms for posting info on a rumor blog is extraordinary and a poor reflection on the aggressor. Seriously!

Now back to Jesse Hogan. I once again confirm my previous statement; he has informed the club he wants to play-on as a Dee. Contract negotiations have begun (or will shortly begin). He will sign a new contract with the Dees.  If my info is wrong I will leave Demonland forever.  I am sure that in the coming weeks the Club will inform the media of this development.

So you keyboard haters, be my guest, waste your time cross examining every word, knock yourselves out with another 6 pages of dribble, its entertaining to me.

Thanks for the info  - appreciated.

The only thing i disagree with is this "If my info is wrong I will leave Demonland forever." - I would rather you just say - if your info is wrong then your info is wrong. I absolutely remember you being the first to relay the Mitch Clark news.  Your scoops ( and other posters) rely on people believing or disbelieving - up to them. I take note of what you post - others dont't  - no biggie. Either way life will go on.

And to be honest if GNF were to leave DL it wouldn't be as much fun. I find it hilarious the response of some here to his posts. I mean who cares if he is wrong or right.

Loved his use of the word confirmed in both recent posts, which was no doubt deliberately used to fan the flames of those inclined to go into a frenzy. Well played sir. Saty who also likes to fan some flames could do worse than taking some pointers on how to be more subtle in his efforts to fire up other posters (í talk to the players, you don't, they trust me blah blah).

Anyway as i have noted before i won $100 on the Roos tip so that is $100 more value than any other poster has provided me.

I hark back to the Scully debacle - Quote his words - "I want to beknown as a one club player and envisage this will be the case". His manager Alistair Lynch  " Melbourne supporters have every reason to be confident" ( on Scully resigning) - the actuality is that he was gone months before.

I remain skeptical  what any footballer says in the press or their management says about players re-signing.

That a poster comes on here and claim inside knowledge and has some credits in the bank and shares something is putting their credibility at risk.

But as binman says - if GNF is wrong then ummmmmm. he is wrong !

The issue that many of us had with your initial post was the 6 months till confirmation. Now you're saying that the club will inform the media in the coming weeks.

Also, we've heard many times that a player say that he "wants" to remain at a club, only to leave. Until the ink is dry on the contract, nothing is confirmed.

The issue many have is they don't read what is written - It is a comprehension problem - if you read what GNF originally wrote - "it could take up to 6 months".

Then you are tying this to the next statement as if it is a contradiction  " in the coming weeks the Club will inform the media of this development".

The only thing that not one will argue with is that until the ink is dry on the contract nothing is confirmed. (again - you will note that GNF has not confirmed that a contract has been signed - he was confirming what Hogan has told the club)
