I'm not sure what's funnier, you talking about not big noting yourself, or thinking you get relevant inside information.

You don't think photos of players' biceps is relevant information? Or what Christian Salem thought of the last Arsenal match?

I think the creeping on Jack Viney and his missus sex life on instagram takes the cake for me.

They claim they have chap, I don't know what to do?, was considering typing in invisible ink chap, but they may have a supply of lemon juice, some seem to suck a few, I was happily on topic, and then all of sudden it's all about biceps and things, and not from me.............oh no! perhaps its contagious

No, it is just premature speculation

Sorry chap, you are only looking at my public Twitter and Instragram, I only use them for footy, which I thought was bizarrely normal, you did click follow on both of them whilst you were there?  I don't treat the players as deities, just human beings

Fair enough, apologies.

Yeah, I meant Weller in the Freo deal and Pick 12 in the WC deal.

Weller and pick 3 sounds like a logical  deal and  perhaps with some steak knives thrown in.   I would not be surprised if  some serious talks between the clubs has happened already.  Ther may be trying to gyp us assuming of course that Hogan is entertaining serious thoughts on going home. We are in the weaker bargaining position if so.

Will you two stop discussing footy whilst there is some serious electronic stalking going on.......like the idea of Gaff trade though

What is the deal with Weller?  People throw him up as if he is a key piece of a deal, but he's done nothing to suggest he is worth that a the minute.

Minimum in any deal would be Fyfe and a low first rounder (inside Top 5) for me.

Weller has a lot of upside/promise for some Wise, with you on this one though

I could talk about potential player movement, this board is full of potential player movement, we all have conversations, whether the potential move happens, that is the point I am making, Jesse has the potential to move to Freo, whether he does, nobody knows, there can be a million conversations about a potential move

As for injury I have discussed Lumumba's concussion on this board today, because it is a known fact and I had a good chat to him about it, but if you ask about a player during the season, you get the straight bat

Interesting you had to throw that bit in to make sure that we know you have a friend who is a present player, and I am only 'tolerated', making what you type much more believable I assume

That kind of rules him out really.

I'm still perplexed as to why people think he is anything more than a decent foot soldier.  It's like saying we would give up Pick 5 and ANB for an A grade player.  It just doesn't work.

It could also be down to the fact that Freo don't have much else on their list that would interest us at a level that it would make the deal work.

I still believe that Hogan will stay, but if he was to leave, I think we would end up getting a deal similar to the one Geelong got for Dangerfield.  Outside of Fyfe none of their players would necessarily crack our best 25.

Lachie Weller is not very good.  We need a much better sweetener than him if its a package with pick 3.  Problem is Freo dont have the young talent to satisfy us in any Hogan deal.

My idea might have been lost in the bickering posts or ignored for being stupid, but what if:

Pick 12 AND 3rd/4th round is traded for Motlop and Vardy. Or a pick swap takes place. Or as others have proposed, #12 for Hartlett?

You're then gaining Gaff, Motlop, Hibberd & Vardy and losing Hogan, pick 27 and 3/4th round while going into next years draft with all picks.

Feel free to throw tomatoes at me, but this is only if Hogan wants to leave. I don't see what's so great about pick 12 this year really, better to attract a player.

2nd year player in the mould of a Jayden Hunt. Played 22 games this season and 3 last season. Can play outside, inside mid and half forward.. One of their few shining lights in a crap year.  Will only get better.

I might be in the minority, but Motlop does absolutely nothing for me.  He is a downhill skier who only turns up once every few weeks, and he seems to consistently go missing in the big games or waste his opportunities when he does show up.

I'm not interested in Vardy due to his injury history.  I can see us getting him and he lasts a month of the pre-season before he does a calf injury that seems to last for 8 months.  If we got a first rounder as part of a Hogan trade then I'd like to see us do something a little better than that.

Lachie Neale and pick 3 would interest me.

I'd take it in a heartbeat, although I feel that Neale is the only player on their list that they wouldn't part with for Hogan.  Everyone else, including Fyfe, would be up for grabs IMO.

If we insist on Neale or Fyfe it may be a  reason why Hogan can't decide.  I doubt Freo would bend unless one of them wanted to leave for us.
