I've been a jetta doubter for a long time and am starting to come around. But one thing i have always given him is he is a strong little bugger. For a small he is very strong, i think thats why he did well on Betts. Betts is very strong for little man too and used to being able to push off any opponent his height. have a feeling the pies will get up (makes me sick). they have been under the pump all week so we come out breathing fire.

we have had a week of - "arent the dees playing great" in the media even though we lost and have the same record as the pies who are in a crisis.  hopefully soon when the dees are 1-2 we will be a crisis!

A few thoughts

* Not sure Jeffy will be fit and if not HUNT comes in!

* Pederson replaces Frost who cannot play forward which also has dual effect of using Pedo as chop out for Max, when this occurs Hogan moves to CHF Jacky goes to FF and others rotate through HF

* Stretch keeps his place on a wing but needs to lift and eliminate errors

* ANB adds another dimension to forward mid field rotations

* Guss comes in for extra "Grunt" factor

A well balanced team to beat Collingwood I think

ANB is on your bench, but not in your "ins" list. I think you need to add Vanders to your outs.

There isn't the room or the need for Wagner AND Hunt in the side (regardless of Garlett availability). One project HBFer is plenty - there's a strong case for even one to be too many I think. Very few sides that like to win a lot do so by loading up on players with less than 10 games under their belt, especially not ones with considerable question marks over their game. This would be pure madness I think.

There won't be four changes. Bugg will play now that there are two forced outs - I don't see ANB as being a huge improvement on him. There is also a strong case for Grimes playing ahead of ANB as uncool as that seems to many.

I can't see the point in playing selection ping pong with Frost and Pedersen. It's clear they're both inadequate; I'd prefer we gave Frost some time to settle in to the role.

Yeah i agree with this, I think we need one of them in though we have to expose the young talent to AFL. and also his idea of a HBF coming in for a potentially unavailable Garlett doesnt really make any sense, that would leave us with Wagner, Salem, H and Hunt all playing the more or less same role! I like Hunt and wanna see him have a run but 1 of the other 2 will need to come out first.

I also agree with selection "ping pong" (i like that terminology i might steal that later haha) they need to pick one and stick with it. Whoever they play this week should be assured of the next 3/4 weeks to give em a chance at getting some form. If then they arnt firing then maybe revisit the other or dare I say drop them both for dawes if he is fit.

With 2 good performances we have the unique opportunity to ruin both Collingwood's and Richmond's (assuming they lose to WC) years in the space of 2 weeks. I dont really think we will beat both of them but i hope to get at least one of them.

You've been a Jetta doubter for a long time and only coming around now? Really? Jetta's been doing a terrific job since his reinstatement and is probably our most consistent player,  who gets the job done without fanfare regardless of who he's playing on.  What have you been watching?

I have always thought he was a temporary solution. Before about the mid point of last year i always thought he would be their up untill a player like Salem matured and could play his role with better skills. He has always been getting the job done defensivly but he was also turning it over alot. I've turned because he has been getting better and better over the last year with his ball movement. He is no longer a "hold your breath" player with ball in hand.

Regardless I'm very happy to put my hand up and say I was wrong.

Dunn and McDonald help in the ruck? Didn't Cloke kick 7 straight last year? I think we need a solid plan on him. He saves his best for us.

And the way we are playing our new zone defence would preclude wholesale changes to the backline like you suggest I would think. maybe Frost to play on Cloke because he can move up the ground, is fast and strong. We also lose very little offensively by having him lock down on Cloke.

Ed is not going to be happy although it is a Pies "home game".  Whilst we are the league experts in Sunday twilight games, it takes away some of the advantage for Collingwood and maybe also some of their gate takings (as the parole officers clamp down on their supporters returning home after dark)!

I comment on a way that I was wrong and then said what Jetta has done well. So no I was not trolling in any way. Idk how you troll but I dont start it with "hi i was wrong". I've only been here a short time and from what i see i have made only 1 post that you could have called a troll (which you pretty quickly did) and even that i made it pretty clear it is a joke. Dismissing my opinions you dont agree with as trolling is pretty ignorant to be honest. I have much better things to do than to sit here trying to piss off other Dees supporters, if i really wanted to do that I'd be on a collingwood or richmond forum trolling them.
