Brilliant game

And they whinge about low scoring footy not being exciting

certainly not brilliant football

like a rugby union game and it's full of errors

but it was certainly intense, full of pressure and so so close all game

We stretched Collingwood a few weeks ago so it looks like we're narrowing the gap. We also need to get a lot more consistency into our play but we're getting there.

Tippet seems a waste of space every time I see him. Am I watching the wrong games?

Tippett is about the most overrated footballer going around.

I really don't see Richmond being good enough to do anything but make up the numbers under hardwick

I feel the same way about Richmond.

Gee Adam Goodes is a bit of a [censored]. I can see why people boo him and its not because of the reason he thinks. He gets a little knock in the back at 1/4 time and you would have thought someone clocked him on the way he carried on about it, then he gets stuck into Rance when he didnt even make contact with Buddy and all because of rance sliding. Hello hypocrite that what you do but you make contact.

Not sure the tigs can get back into this.

On another note im wishng and hoping the hawks [censored] the bummers tomorrow. Like really [censored] them.

Franklin will enjoy 3-4 weeks with the girlfriend on the sidelines.

Bet he only gets a fine or 1 or 2 weeks because Edwards didnt get knocked out. They also play the hawks in 3 so you know the afl will want him available. The thing is he chose to go past the ball to bump edwards.

Guess we already know the talking point this weekend.

Had it been Vickery on a Swan, rather than Buddy on a Tiger, I think it'd be 4 weeks. Because it's Buddy, it will be 2 weeks down to 1. Intentional, high impact, medium force, ran past the ball to make contact, maybe reckless.

He deserves three weeks because it was a dog act but I think you're right.

cheat-convicted, muppet-headed, shrinkwrap-jumpered, front-running lummox who would not get near the pill if he didn't have the services of a champion side giving it to him on a platter

Tippett and Franklin might be gone for the next 2-3 weeks.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
