Delistings/trades at end of the season

Agree, the knee worries me too.

I wonder if an 18 year old Judd's shoulders would have worried us?

Get on the Jager train!

WTF??? How could Petracca be a role model, he's 19 and yet to play game!

Staggering isn't it..

As mentioned by a couple of authors,Grimes or Trengove to be kept at Demonland for very little money. Rookies get $80,000 plus per annum,I wished that I get paid that much, very little money…..can only dream.

The Trengove [censored] off to Richmond was a load of bullsh.t,never going to happen, only used as exercise to lay down the law to players underperforming.Trengove will get back to his best next year however may not get a gig in the midfield.

Ridiculous comment contrary to all the evidence we have seen. First of all JT was not underperforming - he was injured so it doesn't lay the law down to anyone. Plus Richmond would not have bothered with a medical if the deal was a sham & both Trengove & Roos have indicated in interviews that the deal would have gone ahead.

Whole different story...think Cooney

Agreed, CF. Bilious History is a special branch of fantasy fiction.

A demonland speciality too, et

So if people are shying from O'Meara, does that make people concerned about Prestia?

I omeara was on the table id go hard, the kid is an amazing talent

Dermott Brereton has said previously that in the year before the 2001 draft Hawthorn would have taken Judd with Pick 1 if he'd been eligible. They decided one year later because of his shoulders that they'd take Hodge instead. However, that decision would have been helped by the knowledge that Hodge was likely to be a superstar.

Just trying to say that just because a kid has an injury doesn't mean he won't be any good.

But having said that would you rather Judd or Hodge, still an impossible le decision if you ask me.

O'Meara would be worth a punt, but his knees are a big concern. Potential to be one of the greats, but also a chance he can never string together a full season. What would we have to pay? Is our first pick worth the risk? Maybe we could ask Richmond's doctor to put him through his paces before we make them an offer.

I quite like the idea of targeting another tall forward, as I don't rate Dawes and still think King is a long way off. Day would be my preference over Dixon, especially if it's to be believed that Brisbane are driving Dixon's price through the roof.

yep, Henderson is the one currently avail' . hes the perfect foil for our current list... we don't want 2 kids we're waiting for, to potentially develop.

trengove, dunn, frost

jetta, T-Mac, cross,

kent, tyson, salem

watts, Henderson, petracca

garlett, Colonel, fitzpatrick

spencer, brayshaw, jones,

selwood, garland, lamumba, viney, vandenborg, toumpas, stretch, neal-bullen, grimes, weideman, white, howe, aish,

I would take a punt on O'Meara. We need to inject some pedigree into this team even if it means taking an educated risk.

Absolutely, our first pick and Howe. It's not an overly strong draft so why not?

Judd in his prime over Hodge.

Great wrap for Leuenberger yesterday. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-07-05/ruck-dilemma-looms-for-lions-after-leuenberger-finds-form?utm_medium=RSS

Heard somewhere the Lions are interested in Howe.

Straight swap, anyone?

Straight swap for a free agent? Nah

Straight swap for a free agent? Nah

Very good point!

Forgot Leuy is an FA.

Anyone know if Adam Treloar is any closer to re-signing, or do we think he's in play?

whether or not he's in play might be irrelevant, as we're at 100% of the cap, don't have anyone notable on big money going (possible exception being jamar), and have a couple of reasonably significant players - garland, howe - out of contract.

also, i can't see treloar leaving gws, and if he does, i can't seem him heading for the dees.

That cant be true, unless its a strange season where a lot of players staggered contracts are getting the bulk of their money in 2015

We will have a lot of room in the cap next season for sure
