Yeah not sure why he'd be on the footy show. I mean surely he would know he will get asked about his contract.

Makes me more confident he loves the club and will be with us long term.  I see no other reason to put yourself on national television just three days before the season opener when you just did a presser a week ago that got a lot of attention itself.

They're crossing live to Hogan.

This is is like when LeBron chose Miami.

Just an interview.

live though, Hogan is a strange one in front of the camera so could be worth a look.

Prepare for it to be over analysed and conclusions to be drawn from the slightest of his twitches by the naysayers on here.

I wont be watching...but can someone please keep a tally of how many times he uses the word "obviously".

I forgot to count but it was about 7.

Nothing interview really, was at some Addidas reopening, but he was alright, joked about his marking in the NAB and let it known that it was just banter with the Ox. Isn't changing his kicking.

What a disgraceful performance

Has kicked 2 goals in a row since you posted this, but i agree

Needs to think on his feet.

Spent 3 quarters being beaten in arm wrestles before starting to move and lead and provide a valid target and suddenly picks up 3 goals.

I was getting sick of yelling at him to lead and provide an option in the first and third quarters

Very disappointing first 3 quarters, but he took it on his own back in the last and wont the game for us. Im so conflicted ...

It was the worst delivery you could imagine in the first 3 quarters, should have brought it to ground a couple of times but it was hardly all his fault.

In fact I can hardly remember him taking a simple mark on a lead inside 50 in any of his games. It's always hard work to get his goals.

Worked his way into it, well done to the coaches with getting him up the ground, really needs the forward line to himself though. Frost and Pedersen don't help Jesse at all.

Care to take that back? He won the game for us.

Yes I take it back, was just a post out of frustration.

Hogan is god.

If the Hulk averages three goals a game and plays in all of them, that's 66 goals which would be much better than last year.

Just as a reminder, here are his 2015 goals.

Hogan was given the royal treatment by a very strong opponent and yet the umpires could have been a little kinder to him early in the game. His comeback around the ground after such a disappointing start was nevertheless pretty handy.

There will be better days.

He didn't offer any leads in the first three quarters, his teammates were forced to sit it on his head because he simply wasn't moving.

very true clint, and i'm sure the coaches will be correcting this. picked the wrong opponent to arm wrestle. he'll learn

No coincidence that the forward line structure improved in the last quarter when Pedo was put into the backline.

And after the coaching team had given him a rocket by sticking him in midfield so he would be forced to break out of a jog. If he led hard today, he could have kicked 6 no troubles.

Yep, that helped too, but having a pack of 6 players in the way wherever you want to go didn't help...

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
